How would you generate and refine research ideas?
It becomes very much essential to generate proper research idea that will be capable of
providing a better hypothesis for the research work. On the other hand in order to generate a
topic it is important to review the notes. In addition to this innovative and more relatable
research idea can come when discussing the facts with the classmates. This helps in reviewing
the different fields that may attract attention. The main motive behind carrying out a research is
to ensure that a proper support has been offered while exploring the area (McKim 2017). An
innovative idea or new research filed can bring awareness among the people. Thus it is important
to ensure that a proper topic is selected for the purpose of carrying out the research process. The
refining process involves developing valid operational definitions that are used for carrying out
the process successful. As soon as a general topic is selected it becomes essential to ensure that
the topic is refined and formulated based on identified research questions. Identifying the
research question also plays an important role. This ensures that the selected topic is capable of
answering all the necessary questions. A refined and effective idea has the potential to engage
more readers.
What would you consider when specifying the research questions and objectives?
Research objective is used for the purpose of stating the main purpose behind carrying
the paper. This is referred to a wide area of study that is used for the purpose off identifying the
activities that takes place within the system. With the use of a research objective it becomes easy
to summarize the main motive and findings that are expected from the research idea. It is
important to ensure that the research objective selected is relevant to the research idea. It is
equally important to ensure that the selected research idea is feasible, observable, measurable

and logical (Ghauri 2020). Basically objective is referred to the purpose that can be achieved
within an expected timeframe and with the managed resources. Thus it can be stated that there is

research paper. On the other hand research question needs to be designed in such a way that it
becomes easy to answer the issues that are identified. This is considered as an initial step for
carrying a research project paper. However while designing a research paper it is important to
ensure that the research questions are attractive and concise so that it becomes easy to
understand.
How does literature review help in further improving our research questions?
With the help of literature review it becomes easy to evaluate the data sets. Literature
review focuses on preparing a comprehensive summary on the previous researches that are made
on this topic. The literature review aims at discussion the scholarly articles, other sources and
books. The main aim of literature review is to provide proper foundation that will be beneficial
for the research topic. The review part helps in determining the conflicts that are identified in the
previous studies (Christmals and Gross 2017). The literature review is considered as an
important aspect as it for uses on describing the research fields. This focuses on stating the
originality and relevance that is with the research problem. The main objectives are to state the
way research is related to the data. This focuses on justifying the proposed methodology. It is
very much important to ensure that the literature search is capable of originating new ideas
