1. Selection of project at target company
The paper mainly reflects on the construction of “Leopold Shopping Centre” by ADCO
construction company which is one of the established construction companies in Australia. The
Leopold shopping centre mainly includes a proper standout example of a fully integrated design
and construction of a retail solution which generally includes Kmart, ALDI 40 speciality stores,
dinning precinct with the brownfield redevelopment. The shopping centre also includes a
foresight of a new loading dock. In addition to this, the vision of the project also includes
extensive landscaping, car parking facility as well as construction of pavement.
2. Background of the project
The organization “ADCO construction” company wants to construct Leopold Shopping
centre in Australia for providing proper services to the nearby people. The construction of

4. Systematic literature review describing project life cycle
According to Lesage and Samson (2016), the project life cycle generally refers to the four
step procedures that is mainly followed by the project managers when moving through different
stages of the project completion. The life cycle of the project helps in providing a proper
framework in order to manage any type of project within a business. It is stated by Lesage and
Samson (2016) that predictive life cycle or Waterfall model that is considered to be one of the
project lifecycle, in which the project utilizes phase by phase approach where the work that is
associated with each phase of the project gets completed successfully before moving to the next
phase of the project. In this life cycle of the project, all the requirements must be properly signed
off before the development of the project (Conforto et al. 2016). It is considered as one of the

conception, initiation, analysis, design, construction, testing, production and maintenance.
