The process of transmitting innovative ideas and advanced invention in products and
services that creates high level values for which the consumers pay are referred to as business
innovation (Kerzner and Kerzner 2017). This essay is comprises of different project management
methodologies those are needed for the successful implementation of business objectives. For
this particular essay the three nominated organizations are organization A, organization B and
Organization C. The role of the project management consultancy is to influence three of these
companies with advisory project management methodologies.
Project management methodologies are one of the first decisions that the project
managers should undertook for accomplishing the project. Project management methodology is
set or collection of project processes; those are sequentially followed to reach the project
objective. According the background of three of these organizations it can be said that they
should adopt agile, scrum and PRINCE2 project management methodologies to resolve their
management level issues. With the help of Project Management Methodology (PMM) the
resource allocation will be optimized, the task management approach and the visibilities will be
improved, effective team collaboration will built, project will become much efficient with
centralized reporting system.
Project management methodologies adoption for the respective organizations
It has been found that there are certain business organizations which are facing serious
level operational issues due to improper selection of project management methodologies. Being
project driven organizations it is the role of the project manager or project consultant to choose

appropriate project management methodology to drive the business towards massive success
(Martens and Carvalho 2017).
Background of the organizations
Organization A
The Organization A is a USA based organization which holds a 2100 number of employees. The
organization mainly deals with manufacturing high technology, high volume memory chips and
supplies these parts wither directly to the consumers or sometimes to other well known
organizations. In order to manage the employees with desired productivity and proper services
the company currently uses capability maturity model integration (CMMI). The main purpose of
the company is to deliver exceptionally good quality products and services to their consumers
throughout. The vision of the company is to become one of the world’s largest responsible
retailers who will reflect their passionate commitment towards the business developed for the
consumers (Shauki 2016). The priorities on which the organization A mainly concentrates are to
build a customer focused system and the store led culture as well as team to improve the business
revenue.
In order to gain competitive advantages and measurable revenue from the market place
the organization A is willing to develop their marketing in North and South America. In order to
make this possible the organization has to expand their manufacturing operational activities
mainly in Brazil. In order to make the desired possible the project manager of Organization A
should set up sales and marketing department. Then they should establish low costing, high level
technology manufacturing plant in these locations. It is expected that for establishing the new
operation 6 to 12 months will be required. Overall, the organization requires implementing the

project very speedily. In order to accomplish this they need to follow an accurate project
management methodology. The external environment of the business organization is not that
much supportive in nature due to improper growth strategy the commercial revenue of the
company is getting interrupted each time (Sathye 2015). It is expected that if accurate project
management methodology is followed then the organization A will be able to meet the their
objectives.
Selected project management methodology
Different project management methodologies are there such as PMBOK, PRINCE2, agile
methodology etc those are widely used by the business organizations to add on values and
increase the overall reputation of the company (Salameh 2014). For this particular project the
nominated project management methodology is PRINCE2. The PRINCE2 methodology is
consist of five different phases such as business justification, development of structured project
management team, products based approach, division of the projects based on controllable stages
and give proper project level flexibility (Mir and Pinnington 2014). If all of these phases of
project management methodology stages are followed accordingly then the organization will be
able to expand their business in North and South America.
Start up a project: Before initiating the project, the project management team members
should consider all pre-project processes. Before initiation proper project actions are to be
adopted for designing the project budget and overall time for the successful implementation.
(Schwalbe 2015) Based on the assigned information the initiation phases should be cleared
however other additional changes are also should be considered during the running phase of the
project.

Planning phase: After initiating any project the nest phase is the project planning phase.
In this phase the project team members should focus on planning a risk management plan,
contingency management plan, procurement management, time and budget management plan

developed by the project team members in this phase.
Structuring product based approach: It has been found that the aim of the company is
to deliver quality and on-time services to the consumers thus; the project should be planned in
such a way so that it can grab more number of consumers and retain the existing customers.
Controllable stages: The role of the project manager is to reduce the workload and
distribute it among the project team members so that the task can be completed within estimated
budget and time (Wilson and Pender 2017). The project stages should be designed and
segmented in such a way so that it can be all managed easily.
Give flexibility: During the project ongoing phase it may happen that some changes are
required for obtaining project success (Kerzner and Kerzner 2017). Thus, the project manager
should incorporated necessary actions and mechanism so that, desired change can be easily
incorporated to the project development phases.
Closure: The flexibility phase is none other than the monitoring and controlling phase.
The closure phase of the project management methodology deals with project stakeholder’s
signoff, final project document submission and project and post project maintenance plan.
Organization B

Organization B is a construction company which is headquartered in Paris, France. However the
organization is mainly focuses on European Government infrastructure projects. The standards
maintains by the organization are the Euro-codes. In order to gain effective business success,
measurable success and competitive advantages in the European market the company is willing
to develop a project. The project is based on the increment the numbers if infrastructure projects
those are undertaken by the company in Europe. However, the director of the organization needs
to go through the project cases all those are undertaken by them. The numbers of employees
associated to the project are 300 which were very less. Thus, the organization should follow a
proper project management methodology to implement the construction projects accordingly.
Selected project management methodology
There are many project management methodologies such as waterfall model, agile construction
model, critical chain, lean construction methodology etc. It is found that, among all of these
construction methodologies the company should choose the most suitable one. In order to
complete the project within estimated time frame and budget, work breakdown structure (WBS),
development is a very important part to be considered and the activities should be widely
followed by Construction Company to meet the project objectives.
In order to develop the project the project manager and the project team members of
organization B should implement and apply agile project management methodology. It can be
said that if all the PMM phases are maintained accordingly then the company can meet the
project success easily and can also avoid risks (Hornstein 2015). The phase Agile project
development methodology are as follows: envision, speculation, explore, adopt and close. With
the adoption of agile project management methodology the company will be able to produce high

quality products, satisfy more number of consumers, increase the level of control among the
project and also can reduce the level of risks (Heagney 2016). With the successful
implementation and application of the Agile project management methodology the rate of Return
on Investment (ROI) also increases and the visibility of the project also get enhanced.
Agile constriction project management methodology takes flexibility of the Agile
software development as well as applies to the construction. A constriction can be defined as
successfully completed if the sequential steps are followed by the project managers. Different
materials for instance those are specified by the architects may require by the construction
project manager during the implementation of the construction projects. This may took place the
site or the resources are blocked with the addition of the problems. The construction of the
construction projects are often handled with the usage of the project schedule and critical path
activities as well. If the Agile project management methodology is applied properly then it will

Australia. The Finance company has a successful business model but they are looking for further
improvement to grab more number of consumers from different location of Australia and outside
also. The current business process followed by this organization C is regulator performance
framework. This framework is beneficial for the company but still certain additional changes and
improvements are required by the business organizations to gain effective success and
measurable revenue from the competitive market. There are many project management
methodologies available however among those the Organization C finance service provider
company should choose the most suitable PMM. The aim of the company is to improve as well
as enhance their project delivery capabilities.
In order to make these possible the finance service provider company should focus on internal
promotion and professional development. The company has created a senior management team
and the role of this team is to motivate the other project team members. The senior management
team of the company is looking for everyday creativity and new ideas generation. The
organization has also arranged professional training program so that the project team members
can incorporate technical innovation to their projects.
The project management consultant will suggest the company to adopt an accurate
project management methodology so that the issues that the commonwealth ban is facing can be
resolved accordingly. It can be said that, with the successful adoption and implementation of
project management methodology the bank will be able to gain new consumers and can also

below.
Selected project management methodology
In order to develop the projects the finance service providing company should choose the
most suitable project management methodology. The phases of Scrum PMM are initiation,
planning, execution, control and closure. All of these phases are interconnected to each other,
which imply that the input of one phase is the output of the very previous phase (Udagepola, et
al. 2015). If any of the mediatory phase, is found to be nit executed accurately then the entire
project outcome will be a failure. In order to keep the project team members engaged to their job

completely mitigated.

can also gain clear visibility with the scrum PMM. The project that will be implemented are

From the overall discussion it can be concluded that, with the application of proper
project management methodologies all the issues that the three organizations are facing will be
resolved entirely. After analyzing the details of the background of three of the companies is has
been found that, all of these companies the project management methodologies are different
those are to be adopted and applied accordingly. There are different project management
methodologies such as PMBOK, Scrum, Prince2, agile methodologies those are required to be
followed by the project owners of the business organizations should follow to gain effective
measurable revenue and competitive advantages as well. However, only adoption of accurate
project management methodology is not beneficial rather in addition to that application of that
project management methodology is also very much necessary. It has been found that the
managerial, functional and operational activities of the companies are not much stronger and thus
the companies are facing certain serious business level risks. Project management methodology
is referred to as a system of methods, principle and well as rules those are helpful to manage
large project. It helps the business organizations to adopt the standardization process with
accurate understandings. The standardized project management methodology supports the
project team to build and manage an entire project staring from the initiation up to closure. With
the help of the project management methodologies the companies will be able to manage the
identified risks and challenges accordingly. In order to reach to the recurring success, the project
management methodologies are again very much helpful. Apart from these it can reduce the

Recommendations
Though with the adoption of proper project management methodologies most of the
involved project level issues can be mitigated but at the same time certain mandatory
recommendation are given by the project management consultancy those are to be followed as
well to just not only mitigate but also resolve the issues completely. The implementation of a
project management methodology is referred to as a management level activity. The project
manager, project team members and the sponsors are responsible to track, check and monitor the
progress of the project activity. The management structures are different in different business
organizations. The project management methodology should never be implemented partly rather
it should be implemented as a whole during the successful completion of the project. In order to
successfully operate outside the country the companies should implement proper system in their
organizations. In order to implement the system successfully the company should maintain
incremental agile project management methodology which is consists of the following phases:
initiation, planning, design, testing, implementation and testing. The chosen project management
may not reach the expected outcome if it is found that the project team members are not enough
skilled and knowledgeable. In order to mitigate the identified issue the organization should
arrange professional training and development programs for the project team members. A tried
and tested project management method such as PRINCE2 framework will help the project
developers to meet the assigned project objectives with a reduced rate of risks. Even the project
