TASK 1
Comparison and critical analysation of the project management methodologies
Waterfall methodology :
The waterfall methodologies is also considered to be the traditional approach to the
project management. It is the task and the phases in which the project is completed in a linear
form and is considered to be done in sequential manner. In each of the stage the project needs to
be completed in terms of before it has begun in this kind of methodology (Carôt and et.al.,
2020). This methodology is considered to have its end goals clearly defined and it does not
change. The stakeholders of the project are also quite aware of the what they want from the
analysis. The waterfall methodology is considered to be the very consistent and predictable.
Agile Methodology :
The agile project management methodology has come from growth in the dissatisfaction
with a direct approach to the traditional project methodologies. These methodologies is also
considered to be having boundaries of the project management ways which couldn't adapt with
some project as it is progressed with the emphasis of beginning to shift towards the extra
iterative models. It is also the factor that the teams study their project as it needs to through the
procedure instead of the having to wait for the until the end of the review and amend. In this
concept of Agile methodology. In this report the methodology suggests that the stakeholders and
clients are involved in the every stage (Hair and Sarstedt, 2021).
