Introduction:
Project management methodologies are different for different kinds of projects. The
preference for a particular type of project hinge on the specific features of the plan and to
which sector it is applied. Project management methodology is often used in organizations or
in projects of different sectors to organize the projects in times, to provide tools in order to
estimate the costs that are actually required for the project and to improve the cost benefit
analysis of the resources that are used within a project (Kerzner & Kerzner, 2017).
Application of a suitable project management methodology helps in developing the team
skills and helps in achieving greater customer satisfaction through successful delivery of the
project. Project management methodology can be applied in various sectors like for this
report reflection has been made based on the application of project management methodology
at the defense sector. The company of Royal Defense is a defense sector company that is
founded in the year 2017. The following report discusses about the request of the project
organization methodology at this sector.
Project management policies:
Project administration methodologies are well-defined as a set of rubrics and
processes that are utilised within projects to manage the projects effectively. Implementing a
suitable project management methodology helps in achieving enhanced communication and
working process in the sectors where they are applied (Joslin & Müller, 2015). There are
diverse types of project running methodologies including Waterfall project management
procedure, Agile project management policy, Scrum and mix methodology.
Among all these methodologies the company of Royal Defense implemented the
Scrum project management method in order to improve its business sector and tools and
software that are used in the defense sector.
