Project constraints and goals
Constraints
For implementing a housing duplex project in the Victorian regional the nominated
location is Traralgon because the living people of the town are not above 10,000. The local
council documentation, real estate structure and details of land agents of Traralgon have
identified that Lot 4, 52 Liddiard Road Traralgon is the best suited location for constructing the
housing Duplex project (Domain.com 2019). This project will be processed followed by
selection of region, land purchase, building duplex, selling the package and fixing price limit
(Afzal, Maqsood and Yousaf 2017). Scope, cost and budget are the three constraints considered
by the project manager during the implementation of any project.

3PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Triple project constraints for the housing duplex project are as follows:
Scope: The business scope is to construct housing complex in Lot 4, 52 Liddiard Road
Traralgon. In order to initiate the project this location is chosen because this location is
comprises people not more than 10,000 but its population is rapidly growing. For construction of
the housing duplex the land purchased is of 3047 Sq Meter or 0.7529301Acre in size agreed by
Ltrobe City council of Traralgon. Then, the finance manager should conduct a feasibility study to
ensure whether the project will be successful or not. The objectives of this project are to generate
possible equity, competitive advantages and commercial monthly profit (Kerzner and Kerzner
2017). For final approval of this project a feasibility report along with and a detail project
timeline is also presented to the project sponsor (Mok et al. 2015). Apart from that, both the
internal and global business driving factors are also analyzed and represented to the sponsor.
Time: Time is the other important constraint that has to be considered by the project
supervisor for successfully building of the housing duplex in primarily estimated time.
Ineffective project time management can also have negative impact and govern any project
beyond timeline (Hornstein 2015). However, tie and cost are the complimentary constraints
considered for project success. The time which is primarily predicted for the construction of the
housing duplex building is 9 months. There are certain cases where project may not go as
expected due to incorrect processing of time management (Todorović et al. 2015). It is
compulsory for the project administrator and team members to utilize accurate software for
tracking progress of the scheme and ensure that it is leading towards expected direction.
Budget: Budget is one of the most essential factors that ensure success or collapse of any
scheme. For duplex building construction, precise project budget should be developed. The
