3PROJECT MANAGEMENT
1. Introduction
This project is based on the implementation of ERP system in JyotiVIC and
mainly focusses on completing the project within the provided time limit by
mobilising the current employees and chosen team members to participate in the
project [4]. In addition to the development of the ERP based system, it will also be
required to implement specific ethical and behavioural guidelines so that the
employees and other stakeholders do not try to participate in the project and also,
the clients will be clearly informed about the changes that will be implemented
within the organisation’s operational structure.
This report is based on the development of an appropriate project plan for
the project and also on focussing on the ethical issues associated with the project.
2. Integration of ERP Project
2.1 ERP System Background Information and Integration
Justification
ERP System is a very effective information system for business entities as it
automates a large number of operational processes. Not only it automates various
processes, thus reducing manual workload, the system also reduces the number of
errors to almost nil. While stakeholders will not have complete control and freedom
of operations anymore, the system will be much more effective, efficient and error
free [2]. Hence, it is completely justified to implement the system that will help the
company to develop from a manually driven entity to automated entity that
generates much lesser errors in operations that are also faster and efficient.
