1.1 Project title
The paper mainly reflects on the development of a CRM system for a Kit and Ace
1.2 Brief background
The paper mainly focuses on the development of a CRM system for Kit and Ace
organization which was founded in the year 2014. It is found that the company mainly sells
machine washable wool clothing as well as other accessories. As the organization wants to
expand its market by giving tough competition to its competitors therefore, they want to develop
a CRM system. It is found with the help of the CRM system; the organization can be able to
centralize as well as streamline its communication for creating stronger relationship with the
customers. In addition to this, development of CRM give better knowledge about the customers,
helps in segmentation and assist in better as well as speedier service that attracts more customers
and helps the organization in expanding its business.
1.3 Objectives of the project
The objectives include:
To develop CRM system for Kit and Ace clothing store
To expand the business of the organization by giving tough competition to its competitors
To resolve the issues that the organization mainly faces due to current system

Budget: The expenditure of project budget must be done in a proper way for avoiding
project budget shortfall issues and if project shortfall occurs, the progress of the project
can be obstructed.

The paper mainly focuses on the development of a CRM system for Kit and Ace

2. Schedule management plan
The schedule management plan that is created helps in reflecting the project activities,
milestones as well as start and end dates in the form of Gantt chart. As per the Gantt chart which
is given, the commencement of the project is on 17th April 2020 and the completion date of the
project is 10th July 2020 that means around 61 days of time is needed for successful development
of CRM system for Kit and Ace clothing store in Canada.

3. Cultural barriers within the organization
It is found that development of CRM system for handling the entire functions and
operations of the organization is considered as a major change and this change can be proper
adopted if the organization consists of proper working environment.
Barriers within the organization
Poor communication: If the higher management of the organization do not
communicate the significance of the system then the workers of Kit and Ace will not
support the project which will further create barrier within the project progress. It is
analyzed that arrangement of proper meeting is needed for reflecting the significance of
the project so that such types of barriers can be avoided (Atkin et al., 2017).
Seeing change as a threat: Resistance is considered as one of the greatest barriers for
making changes and this resistance is mainly due to the fear that is present in the mind of
the workers. Most of the workers feared that they are unable to manage work on the new
system or the system will threaten their productivity. Such type of resistance generally
acts as a barrier (Asmi et al., 2017).
Identification of members for combating barriers
It is found that in order to resolve the barriers that are mainly associated with the
organizational change will be solved by the higher authority of the organization as well as with
the help of the team members. If the project team is able to spread awareness by communicating
about the significance of the project then the barriers for accepting the project within the
organization can be reduced.

3. Cultural barriers within the organization
It is found that development of CRM system for handling the entire functions and
operations of the organization is considered as a major change and this change can be proper
adopted if the organization consists of proper working environment.
Barriers within the organization
Poor communication: If the higher management of the organization do not
communicate the significance of the system then the workers of Kit and Ace will not
support the project which will further create barrier within the project progress. It is
analyzed that arrangement of proper meeting is needed for reflecting the significance of

project manager will discuss how the development of the new system will expand the business of
the organization and how it will create impact on the organizational revenue that is generated.
(Dandage et al., 2018). This is mainly done for motivating the team so that they do not create
barrier during CRM development project. In addition to thus proper facility of training will be
provided to each and every stakeholder who will operate the CRM system so that they will not
face any type of challenges while handling the functions and operations of Kit and Ace clothing
store. The various training items which are necessary in the project are listed below:

On the launch day of the changes that are done in the project for avoiding barriers, it is
found that due to illness, the project manager is unable to attend the launch event. It is found that
due to absence of project manager, it will be quite difficult to launch the project successfully
(Kerzner 2017). As a contingency plan for such issue, the project planner is given the
responsibility of launching the project so that the project gets launched within the estimated time
without facing any delay. This contingency plan must be incorporated within the launch plan of
the project so that the contingency plan can be undertaken within the project for avoiding project
related issues.
6. Follow up launch
The steps that are mainly taken on order to take proper follow up on the launch plan after 3
weeks and after one year of launch.
After three weeks of launch, the project team must analyse whether the system that was
launched has been done effectively or not for avoiding project related challenges. This
follow up is needed for analyzing the issues that the organization is facing after launch
and what type of actions are mainly needed for resolving such issues (Silvius et al.,
2017).
It is found that after 1 year, the project manager must take follow up for properly
maintaining the system that was development such that the CRM system will be able to
manage the operations and functions of the organization quite successfully. This is
mainly done by the support team from time to time for avoiding operations related
challenges of the system.

5. Issues on the Launch day
On the launch day of the changes that are done in the project for avoiding barriers, it is
