INTRODUCTION
Project management representatives effectively manage and correctly implement skills,
knowledge, and tools by performing outstanding activities and project efforts related to meeting
appropriate demand goals. It also tends to take on the prominent stage of providing appropriate
guidance to project managers to complete all activities and achieve success according to
appropriate standards. The report discusses QAHE's Project Inception Documents (PIDs) related
to the rebuilding of the Manchester campus. The project aims to develop a better heating
arrangement of the teaching space and sound absorbing panels on the walls to make it appear
attractive. In this case, stakeholder analysis, key personnel, methods, objectives, and timeline,
and WBS are entered into the case related to the selected case scenario.
Task A: Risk Register
A risk register basically provides a systematic written document that is useful and vital for
effectively recording the all the identified risk that hampers the efficiency level of the project
(Montes-Guerra and et. al., 2021). Following are the possible risk that encountered during the
current project on improved teaching space development at the Manchester campus of QAHE
without disrupting the teaching schedule:

Task B: Project closure
The project closure phase is the fourth and final phase of the project life cycle. At this
stage, the executives or the project manager will officially finalize the project and then present
the report as per to the overall level of success to their sponsor. Project closure involves
supplying the manner of the sections to their clients, passing documents to the company,
cancelling supplier contracts, releasing employees and teams, notifying stakeholders of the
project closure and many more. At the time of project completion, a post- implementation review
will be completed to determine the success of the project and determine lessons that are learned
during it. The project closure process group has been developed with key role of processes that
are executed in order to complete all activities in the project management procedure in the group
that will formally complete the project, phase, or contractual obligations. When the process
group is complete the project executives or manager will check if the processes defined in all the
process groups are have been completed or not to close the project phase and finally confirm the
project or the project phase that has been completed as effectively and efficiently.
Project closure phase will involves several sections that are as follows –

PIR report records and will hold the recommendations and lesson learnt for further
section of the project.
Task C: Methodologies
Methodologies basically comprises of the set of methods and techniques that can be applied
by a project manager to support more systematic and effective undertaking of the various task
and activities associated with efficient completion of a project (Salama, 2021).
Waterfall
This is most straight forwards and liner firm of project method that is progressive in nature
which comprises of an approach where a project is completed in distinct stages and moved step
by step toward ultimate release to consumers. Thus, use of the waterfall approach comprises of
making a big plan upfront based on effective planning and then effectively execute in a linear

fashion and progressive manner that hoping that there would not be any changes in the plan. The
main stages of the Waterfall plan tend to starts from the Requirement gathering and
documentation along with the System design and Implementation followed by proper Testing,
Delivery/deployment and finally the Maintenance of the project.

Agile is also vital and useful as it empowers the team and delivers the project on a regular basis
for feedback thus, ensures higher efficiency level.

The Prince2 approach provides the most flexible method that guides and provides
systematic way for managers through which they effectively manage the essentials of task for
managing successful projects, regardless of type or scale. PRINCE2 is an acronym which stands
for Projects IN Controlled Environments and this framework requires to have maximum
controlled through starts, middle till ends. The phases of the Prince 2 method comprise of
Starting up a project together with the Directing a project, initiating a project, Controlling a
stage, Managing product delivery, Managing stage boundaries and finally the Closing the
project. It has been analysed and find out that the Prince 2 methodology provides significant
flexibility and adjustability in a dynamic environment and best fit the demands and projects
scope.

Waterfall approach is rigid and does not allow making of changes while Prince 2 method require
lots of paper work thus, they are not suitable for current project management.

CONCLUSION
On the basis of current project, a conclusion can be made that risk register is vital and
effective in identifying and determining the project risk along with its effective mitigation.
Further, a summarisation can be made closure of project is also important as success and
effectiveness of a project is depend on the completion stage of the project which includes proper
recoding and documentation. At last, a conclusion can be made that, Waterfall, Agile and Prince
2 approach are used for effective management of project through having systematic stage and
phases.
