The project schedule for the HRIS plan is shown using Gantt chart. The Gantt
chart will help the project manager to show the project tasks planned to complete in
scheduled timeframe. The chart is showing the dependencies of project tasks, such
as one task is dependent on other task. The actual project work against planned time
is used to track progress of project tasks. The project management software like MS
Project is used to create the Gantt chart. The free project management tool is used
to plan as well as manage HRIS implementation. The following Gantt chart shows
the list of the project activities included start and end date and its duration (Guida &
Sacco, 2019). Effective project scheduling is required for successful management of
project time. The project reporting is required to involve and communicate with latest
updates of project with the project stakeholders. It is mainly required in the project for
mitigating and monitoring of overrun of cost and create proper project plan.
The critical path method is used for the project team to recognize project
tasks in HRIS implementation plan. It is provided with high level of the project
timeline along with correlation of project tasks. It helps the project manager to
identify how the project task duration is being modified (Sanghera, 2019). The critical
project tasks are required to ensure that the project can end on scheduled time.
Delay in the critical project activity leads to project delay.
The project schedule constraints are that the project should require to
complete on scheduled time duration of 260 days, otherwise the project team has a
limitation. There is delay in the project activities and delay in project completion time.
The Gantt chart shows the start date of project as 1st Jan, 2019 and end date
is 30th Dec, 2019. The total duration of the project is 260 days.
