who are studying in different colleges and schools. This kind of
educational website utilises the same form of technical
architecture, which has been previously been utilised for Netflix
and similar websites (Ormrod & Jones, 2014). The website that
would be designed for EdMedia systems would deploy the use of
Real-Time Streaming Protocol based on providing the facility to
users for live streaming video contents. The project is based on a
one year contract that would form the main foundational base of
the company. This project thus aims to deliver a stable, effective
and a user-friendly solutions for students.
Project Purpose The main needs and the purpose that would be served with the
implementation of the EdMedia educational website are:
To design and deliver a highly efficient educational website that
would be able to serve the needs of students and teachers.
To help in engaging students based on providing them with best
form of self-tutoring services.
To assess the progress of learning and knowledge gained from
the website with the help of tests conducted within the website.
To manage the content of course and thus help the students by
providing self-tutoring services.
Project Scope The project scope includes the factor of providing the best form
of educational content in the form of videos that would help the
students in self-tutoring them. The project would be based on the
similar form of architecture that is followed by Netflix. The
project would be able to deliver the best form of services
(Donovan, Green & Mason, 2014). The project would consist of
a huge database that would be able to store the financial
information of clients, hundreds of educational videos and many
other vital information. The project would also include a high
level of encryption that would be able to secure the data of the
client and the company. The project would deploy their contents
in Perth, Melbourne and Sydney in the initial stages.

4.2 Detailed Schedule
The Gantt chart describes the entire schedule of the project. During the start of the project, each of the
informal teams would be set. During the discussion with the concerned teams, each of the technical aspects
would be discussed. They would then decide on a formal date to start the project. The project manager
would gather the entire set of requirements that would be needed to complete the project. As the project
manager would not be efficient for completing the entire tasks in a single handed manner, hence they would
hire some subcontractors who would assist in completing the tasks. After a proper finalising of each of the
requirements have been made, the technical team would start with the development of the website. The
marketing of the website would commence after the website has been designed. The beta versions of the
website would be made live at different places of Perth, Sydney and Melbourne. The full market opening of
the website would be done after a formal approval from the top managerial level of the organisation. After
the website has been planned and made live, the project would meet its closure phase.
