INTRODUCTIONA Project is a temporary program that has a definite beginning and end. The projects havea definite scope and a routine according to which it works. To undertake a project, an agenda isprepared about it where different decisions regarding procedures and steps that will be taken aredecided. Similarly, the project management refers to application of various skills, ideas, toolsand experiences to accomplish the project. The project management confronts various steps sothat all areas that are necessary for completing a project properly can be covered. This coversmajor areas of like time, cost, scope, quality, resources, coordination, risk management andstakeholder management (De Bakker, Boonstra and Wortmann, 2010). Thus, the projectmanagement helps in carrying out the projects with all possible efforts so that less flaws can bemade. For managing various risks related to project the PRM (Project Risk Management) ishelpful. Various factors of a project contain a high degree of uncertainties that increases the riskelement. Therefore, it becomes necessary to manage risks and develop plans to overcome them.Besides this, another factor that should be considered is EOP or End of Project. It is related to thefinal part of project when it comes to an end. This stage requires to have final documentation ofcurrent project with all formalities. On this basis, whole planning is done for project completionlike planning, performing, directing and controlling (Heising, 2012). The present report reflectsthe project on Winter Hungama which is a social event specially organised to welcome thefestive season of Christmas. The event is going to be organised at University campus. The reportwill be focussed at making plans and developing activities to accomplish the project. TASK 11.1 Introduction of Winter HungamaThe Winter Hungama is a social event that is going to take place as a welcome of festiveseason. The event has been organised at University campus which will be continued for 10weeks period starting from 18th of October to 13th December. Till this period the event will havevarious functions to entertain the participants and audiences. There will be the arrangement ofgames and quizzes on various topics. Apart from this, there is a facility of refreshments as wellfor the participants and guests (Littau, Jujagiri and Adlbrecht, 2010).
