Introduction
Project management refers to an effective technique that enables project managers to carry out project activities in a concise or
required manner. The provided technique further promotes efficiency of project tasks produced in the project firm and also develops
standards on which specified aims and objectives of the project firm can be achieved. In the provided report document, operational
working at TFL will be taken into consideration. Transport for London commonly known as TFL, is being appointed for construction
of land along with Bollo Lane and are deemed to develop new 800 homes in Acton. Provided document will reflect on several project
activities performed in respect to stakeholder analysis, WBS, risk analysis and project methodology.
Main Body
Task 1
Methodologies
For the provided construction project undertaken in the project firm various methodologies can be taken into consideration. For
the provided project taken by TFL, managers of the project can rely for such methodologies for completion of the project task. Below
are the methodologies under which the said project can be performed;
Agile: The given methodologies derives its advantages in form of ultimate effective usage of project resources being invested
for completion of various project tasks. For the said project, given methodology can derive productivity of the project firm and
also enable project managers to seek growth of firm by avoiding wastages of resources.
Waterfall: For the said methodologies separating project resources and allocating such resources derives with one of the
effective derivates of the project firm. The provided methodology by undertaking each project task with right ability of human
resources and usage of effective project resources in best possible manner towards the attainment of desired project goals and
objectives.

The project manager can take consideration of both the methodologies which will ensure effective usage of project resources
and will define a critical pathways to attain the desired project objectives and goals. Seeking to nature of the project as the firm will be
engaged in construction of road and will contribute towards promoting social objectives of the project firm.
Task 2
Network diagram
Network diagram refers to graphical presentation of to be operated activities in the project firm. Such representation enables
project managers to clarify vision and scope of the given project. In addition to this, project managers are also able to regulate project
activities as per the desired standards towards the attainment of desired goals and objectives of the firm. A network diagram presents
interrelation between various tasks to be performed in the project firm and also enables with effective allocation of project resources to
perform such tasks in the organisational firm. Through this project managers are also enabled with effective usage of project resources
and are guided with avoidance of resources consisting of monetary as well as human resource.
