INTRODUCTIONProject plan can be defined as document that helps in structuring or outlining thecomponents which plays a crucial role at the time of executing the program (Projectmanagement, as effective as it gets, 2018). Planning documents, baselines, strategies and moreare some of main elements of a proper project management plan. Away with this, administrativeplan also aid project managers of the company in executing, controlling and monitoring theoverall project (Burbank and et. al., 2015). In this report, firm which has been chosen i.e. HooHing which is an Asian supermarket of United Kingdom whose headquarter is in Essex, UnitedKingdom. Project manager and BOD of Hoo Hing has decided to open its physical store inCardiff, Wales, UK by 1 year. Along with this, report will include role of a project manager andcharacteristics of a project, application of theoretical frameworks and methodologies within aproject environment, composition and management of teams in project environment and aproject management plan which will help Hoo Hing in attaining its desired objectives which willhelp them in improving their own performance level.TASK1. Define project, its characteristic and role of project managerProject can be defined as a plan which includes a number of activities to meet desiredgoals and objectives in a specific time frame. Away with this, project management plan is beingconsidered as an action which can help a project manager in making right modifications in anexisting plan so that maximum benefits or desired goals can be attained (Flora, Wang andChande, 2014). Being as a project manager in Hoo Hing, my objective is to monitor the projectof the company i.e. opening new physical store in Cardiff of Hoo Hing so that it do not impactupon company's profit and reduce number of risks that are involved in executing the plan. I havealso made prepared some documents that will define a number of approaches or measures takenby team for delivering the scope of project. Hoo Hing have been one of famous organisation ofUnited Kingdom which has already grabbed a good position in UK's market with keeping an aimof delivering right products and services to customers focusing on building an effective relationwith them. Here, they have decided to enhance their own profit margins through businessexpansion and have kept their aim of opening a new store at Cardiff, Wales, United Kingdom by1 year.1

Project Title:“Launching of Hoo Hing's physical store at Cardiff, Wales, United Kingdom”Background and purpose of project:A supermarket Hoo Hing Ltd. found in the year of 1991 who is offering grocery basedimported products and services to citizens of United Kingdom. It's headquarter is in Essex, RM81, UK. Company have recently decided to expand its business which will help in meeting theirgoals and objectives like becoming number one brand in United Kingdom. On the other hand,they have decided to opening a new store in Wales by 1 year which will aid them in enhancingcustomer base along with much more stronger existence and hold in United Kingdom's market.Here, purpose of this project is to improve brand value in a whole new market. Here, being as aproject manager of Hoo Hing, my objective is to reduce risk factors that can be faced bycompany while executing its plan for business expansion at Wales.Company's project objectives: To evaluate the importance of opening a whole new store at Wales.To measure the benefits of launching products and services of Hoo Hing at Wales.To identify strategies which will help in opening brand new shop at Wales by 1 year withan ease.My objectives:To identify number of risks involved when organisation executes its plan.To measure ways through which risks can be reduced to minimal in specific time frame.To ascertain importance of reducing the risks from a project plan.Characteristics of Project: Project of Hoo Hing (opening a store at Wales) needs to contain different keycharacteristics that I will be managing and these are :-Project needs to be develop with keeping an aim on customer's needs and requirements.Project should carry temporary existence for a certain time frame.It is required for a project to be developed with considering all the norms, ethics andpolicies may be government of UK or of any other country.
