In the same way, thechosen company for this report is Debenhams which is a multinational retail firm in UK whooperate more than 178 locations. Company provide good range of clothes and household items totheir customer at low rates. Thus, the report will describe the application of agile methodologyused by company and also describing its features as well as process.Application of project Management theoryDebenhams wants to introduce Artificial intelligence in its working area so that it willhelp to lower down the rate of manpower. Therefore, it is quite essential for the project managerto handle the project of Artificial Intelligence in better and effective way. Therefore, using agileas a project management theory will be helpful because it is a process by which the team canmanage the project in order to delegate the task into different stages, so that there should becontinuous improvement as well as repetition in every stage (Kerzner, 2017). Artificialintelligence is the use of computer science programming to resemble human thoughts as well asactions by determining the data and solving the problem and learning in order to adapt thevariety of task. If Artificial Intelligence is used by Debenhams then it helps to resolve the billingissues such that by analysing errors in bills and updating records. Further, AI is also used inresearch and development department of the quoted firm and helps manager to take betterdecision for the success of the company. Therefore, agile methodology in the projectmanagement also allow the project manager to make effective use of all the resources in definedtime. For completing the project on deadline, it is quite essential to treat scope, time, quality andresource as a primary key element.In addition to this, in order to implement the artificial intelligence, the project manger ofDebenhams should first analyse the scope and nature of project on Artificial Intelligence and inthe next stage, the direction of the project should be tracked so that work breakdown structure isdeveloped. After that proper planning should be done and all type of risk planning, developmentof team, measures to be taken for quality assurance should be taken in order to complete theproject (Meredith, Mantel Jr and Shafer, 2017).
