TITLE: “Impact of Obesity on health and well-being of an individual”
INTRODUCTION
Today, the prevalence of obesity among people is very common and a rapid increase has
been seen over the last some years. It is a complex socio-economic and physiological issue
because of which it may seem intractable. It referred as a medical condition which is associated
with accumulation of fat in excessive amount in the body that it may have adverse impacts on
health. It is generally caused because of too much eating and too little moving. If an individual
consumes more amount of energy, specifically sugars and fat, but do not burn the energy by
doing physical activity or exercise then the surplus energy will be stored through body in the
form of fat. The main causes of opacity include overeating, physical inactivity, frequency of
eating, medications, genetics, psychological factors, diseases like insulin resistance,
hypothyroidism etc. All these are the common causes of increasing obesity among the people.
Research Aim
The aim associated with this research project is “To analyse the impact of obesity on
health and wellbeing of an individuals and complications associated with it”
Research Objectives
Objectives are the guiding principles that helps investigator in performing research in
systematic way and accomplish project aim. The objectives related to this research are mentioned
below:
 To identify the main causes of obesity among individuals.
 To analyse the impact of obesity on health and wellbeing of people.
 To determine the different complication associated with obesity.
 To ascertain various preventive measures that can help in reducing obesity in individuals.

The questions related to this research are mentioned below:
 What are the main causes of obesity among individuals?
 What is the impact of obesity on health and wellbeing of people?
 Which are the different complication associated with obesity?
