IntroductionMotivation is the essential tool that can help in increasing the performance level of the employees to great extent. In the modern competitive era it is essential that to encourage people so that they put their best efforts and contribute well in the success of the entity. In the modern era most of the organization focus more on encouraging its staff members so that they be loyal towards the brand and perform their duties well. There is strong relationship between employee motivation and company’s performance (Cerasoli, Nicklin and Ford 2014). Satisfied and motivated employees perform well in order to accomplish goal of the organization. They continuously try to enhance revenues of the entity and making consumers satisfied by rendering quality services to them. Present report is based on the Hilton hotel which is leading brand of hospitality industry. Cited firm serves quality services to guest world wide that has created unique brand image of the entity globally. Current research project will discuss the concept of employee motivation in the organization. Its impact on employee performance will be reviewed in this study. In addition, it will discuss several research methodologies in order to gather in depth information about subject matter. Data will be collected from the manager of Hilton hotel and it will be analyzed and evaluated. Project plan will be prepared so that activities and completion time can be find out (Noe and et. al.,2014).. Aryee and et. al., (2015), argues that motivation defines the intensity of employeeneed or desire and then evaluate the same so that appropriate results could be achieved.However, people working within hospitality industry requires to improve their overallencouragement and thus move towards the same. Therefore, it is significant for businessesrelated to service sector to encourage their employees as they are directly connected withcustomers. For instance, if the employees will be satisfied from the roles and responsibilitiesassigned then he/she would give better customer services and thus improves their overallperformance so that sales and profitability of business could be enhanced. Importance of employee motivation resulting in enhancing work performanceAs per the opinion of Andersen, Heinesen and Pedersen (2014), there are majority of theorganizations competing to survive in such fierce competitive market. Motivation andperformance are interconnected and therefore, it is essential for firm to encourage its workforcefrom time to time through organizing different facilitation function and programs and thusprovide them both rewards and awards so that performance of organization could ultimately be3
