Project placement design and implementation is one of the most important part of a
project. It helps in planning, designing and implementation of a project. This Project placement
design and implementation assignment provided an opportunity of developing various skills
required to solve work based problem. This assignment will lay emphasis on building a project
portfolio using various kinds of methodologies and activities, identification and articulation of
development of all the work related skills that can be used in any kind of project, background of
the topic “Logistics and Operations for Oil and Gas Spring 2019”, effectiveness of planning and
preparation of undertaking prior project implementation. This assignment will help in
understanding work based actions that can be taken to solve any kind of problem, appropriate
theories that can be used to explain one's learning and different ways it can be used to analyse
complete information in a better manner. This project will also focus on European springs and
Pressing Ltd organization which deals and works in Oil industry. This project will help in
understand the issue that is being faced by the company, ways that problem was identified and
solved.

The present report is based on logistic and operation for oil and gas spring 2019.
Henceforth, European springs and Pressing Ltd backed an effective tool that crucially used in Oil
industry. Gas spring is the kind of spring that is similar to the mechanical spring that relied on
the elastic deformation that uses the compressed the gas that is covered within the enclosed
cylinder. Therefore, it sealed by the siding piston to pneumatically store potentially energy.
Thus, issue that has been identifies is relate with “High temperature that were developing at the
time of drilling and that turn into affecting the properties of compression springs (Zavala-Araiza
and et.al., 2015).
At that time, It was analysed that compressor springs was high affected by the
temperature that was present on the sea land. After identifying this issue, the enterprise given
challenging assignment of developing the special tool that can able to reduce the load at the time
when drill bit came into contact with hard rocks. In order to cope up with the issues, the team has
been formed that is constantly striving to improve the profitability of the drilling and operation.
This leads to reduce the daily operations cost by streamlining and shortening service service

heavy compression springs that can compensate for the pressures.
Therefore, the main aim behind this is that by providing the safe and reliable energy
infrastructure has become the foundation source of the business enterprise. Hence, operating the
pipelines safely and reliably has become the highest priority. In order to deal with this needs the
entity must have efficient and well designed supply chain management so it can support the
business and aids to gain competitive advantage to the enterprise. Logistic plays the crucial role
in order to ensure safe, timely and cost effective deliver services. Herein, efficient solution needs
to be given at the time for the collaborative partners. This is very crucial for Europeans springs
that solutions to functionality issues must be design and it should have use of highest quality
services. Henceforth, high quality design, effective operational activities and improved process

order to develop this skill proper training was provided to me in both the ways i.e. on the
job and off the job.
I was also provided with system training. This training helps me in developing system
analysis and evaluation skills. This training helped me to understand the way any kind of
system works, things or conditions that can affect the overall performance of the system,
improvements or actions that are required to be undertaken to solve the system problem
so that it can work in the best possible manner. Development of this skill helped me to
understand the system and its working in most easy possible manner possible.
Another one of the most important skill that I developed to solve work based problem
was management and resource planning skill. It was an important skill as it helped me in
understanding proper use and allocation of resources to be used to solve the work based
problem (Care and et.al., 2015). These skills help in understanding the ways in which
employees or co-workers can be monitored, motivated, and direct people according to

(5) Analysis of actions take to handle situation
Oil and gas spring is one of the important tool that is attached to the drillers. So that
pressure can not be placed on other machines. It can be observed that when driller placed on sea
land pressure is exerted on machines that are inside and outside sea area. That pressure is
handled by spring that is attached to driller. Spring is included partially inside and outside
cylinder and it contains nitrogen which handle pressure (Allred and et.al., 2015). Hence,
whatever pressure exerted by driller is not observed by other machines that are placed on it. In
the project mentioned above accident happened due to driller machine. It can be observed that on
sea land temperature changed significantly and this put negative impact on compressor that is on
oil and gas spring which reduce its effectiveness.
In order to ensure that such kind of situation will not come in existence managers prepare
a team of researchers whose main aim was to develop a machine which will bear load at any
temperature while drilling sea land or rocks. In order to solve problem first of all research done
and changes that need to be made to machine were determined and presented through 3D charts.
Idea was to make use of durable and heavy compression springs which can handle force
generated when rock was drilled.
However, when changes implemented it was observed that compressor springs were
heavily affected by the temperature that was on sea land. Again, meeting of researchers and
managers was organized and consensus was developed on changes that need to be made to the
machines (Wright, 2017). As per consensus work started on developing material that can support
compressor in high temperature. After development changes implemented and it was observed

whatever pressure exerted by driller is not observed by other machines that are placed on it. In
the project mentioned above accident happened due to driller machine. It can be observed that on
sea land temperature changed significantly and this put negative impact on compressor that is on
oil and gas spring which reduce its effectiveness.
In order to ensure that such kind of situation will not come in existence managers prepare
a team of researchers whose main aim was to develop a machine which will bear load at any
temperature while drilling sea land or rocks. In order to solve problem first of all research done
and changes that need to be made to machine were determined and presented through 3D charts.
Idea was to make use of durable and heavy compression springs which can handle force
generated when rock was drilled.
However, when changes implemented it was observed that compressor springs were
heavily affected by the temperature that was on sea land. Again, meeting of researchers and
managers was organized and consensus was developed on changes that need to be made to the
machines (Wright, 2017). As per consensus work started on developing material that can support
compressor in high temperature. After development changes implemented and it was observed

that it proved successful. Solution proved very effective and now employees can work safely at
the workplace. In such kind of situation actions that I take are given below. Research: As part of research team I first of all do research on materials that can handle
heavy temperature at the workplace or within sea. I gather information about varied
materials that are used by different companies in preparing oil drilling machine. Find out
different temperatures up to which they work effectively. This help me and my team to
identify appropriate material to be used in the machine so that machine can work
smoothly in deep water area. Thus, it can be said that it is one of the important action
that I take to handle the situation. Team collaboration: I talk to varied team members about the problem and solution that
can be obtained to handle the situation. Spend a lot of time with them in order to receive
advise (Zavala-Araiza and et.al., 2015). Finally, by doing so we arrive at specific
solution. It was necessary to take action because by doing so it was ensured that
appropriate decisions will be taken to handle the situation.
Meeting with labours: I conduct meeting with the labours and identify their work
experience in respect to the problem that we face while working on oil rigs. These are
those people that work on ground level and have better knowledge about way in which
machine work and level of its effectiveness (Heidersbach, 2018). Thus, it can be said that
inputs that I received from the labours greatly help me in taking machine upgradation
related decisions.
Hence, it can be said that most of steps were taken that can ensure that all things are
going well and objective is achieved. By taking right step on right time problem was solved
which lead to smooth performance of operations.

important to bring any medium way so that both entity can work in close cooperation to
