The current research plan is based on the topic which is increase of conflicts and
disputes among the employees and its impact on the performance of the company.
Conflicts arise at the workplace among staff members highly affect the overall
performance of the company along with the employees themselves. In this report, Marks
and Spencer is chosen as the base organization where large number of employees face
conflicts related issues.

Problem Statement
Rise in conflicts and disputes among the employees within workplace affects the
efficiency of staff members as they are not performing their task as per the expectations.
It has also been identified that this is mainly originated due to unequal distribution of
work and arise of discrimination behaviour by the management team of the company.

As per the opinion of de Vries, 2020 it is said that the main reason behind rise in
conflicts among the workers is unequal distribution of roles and responsibilities and
increase of discrimination on the basis of gender, educational background, color, race
and many more. It has also been identified that employees are not easily adapting
change and innovation in technology which creates conflicts between staff members and
management team. This might reduce the overall efficiency of the employee in a
negative manner as the feel demotivated while working within the organization.

both positive and negative influence on the performance of employees. This is because

to adopt some strategies which includes equality and diversity practices, training and
development session, 360 degree performance feedback system and many more. All
