INTRODUCTION
A project plan describes as a document that contains description related to the scope of
the project along with its monitoring, controlling, execution, risk as well as measure the success
(Ceruti, Williams and Bedford, 2019). The following report described about the Project Plan of
AstraPlc which is small-sized company as well as specialized in providing vitamin and mineral-
based food supplements. The project plan is developed for the launch of Health and fitness app
in order to diversify the portfolio of the company. The report includes risk, scope and success of
the project.
Project Plan
The management of Astra Plc wants to launch the health and fitness app which is
required to develop a project plan which has been described below:
Aim of the project- The primary aim of Astra Plc to launch this app is to diversify the
product portfolio of the company in order to gain the brand equity of the company.
Title of the project- The suitable title for the project is to “An app for health and
fitness”.
Target customers- Youngsters, social media influencers, professionals as well as
athletes are the target customers for the app of Astra Plc.
Implementation of in app analytics- The app involves various things such as Calorie
Calculator, virtual trainer, track caloric intake tools, sharing option for fitness as well as result
tracking through Blogs on fitness goals, fitness progress, etc.
Time frame- Company required 3 months in order to launch this app.
Gantt Chart- This refers to a project management tool which helps in describing about
the project plan (McPherron and Smoke, 2018). It covers two parts in which first one is display
in left side which contain task list and the second part is display in right side which contain
timeline as well as schedule bars for project visualization.

Project Scope
This describes a method which helps in setting the limits for the project as well as
defining the deadlines, deliverables as well as goals related to the project. In case of Astra Plc,
the primary objective for the launch of health and fitness app is to help in increasing the brand
equity of the company through diversification of their food supplements service by offering
fitness blog and food within the app (Cicala, 2020). By offering convenience in the app analytics
for their users which help company to achieve their goals as well as by providing social media
sharing feature in order to share their fitness progress helps company in order to increase their
brand equity as well as downloads for the app.
