Problem Statement Increasing competition is creating problem for the medium size manufacturing firm in order to manage their operations well. They face issues in managing inventory, cash flow etc. properly. Implementing ERP can be beneficial for them in resolving their issues. Project Strategy In the present study on effectiveness of implementing ERP system in the organization, researcher has taken support of qualitative research method. This is the appropriate technique for the present study because by involving human participants or using theories scholar can answers these research questions easily. Project Objectives ï‚·To explain conceptual framework of ERP software. ï‚·To analyze advantages and disadvantages of implementing ERP system in the organization. ï‚·To determine impact of implementing ERP system on business activities of A&R Cambridge Ltd. ï‚·To suggest way to enhance operational and accounting efficiency of A&R Cambridge Ltd by implementing ERP software. Performance, Cost, and Time Objectives Project cost The cost of the project is needed to be analyzed so that firm may be able to generate higher returns in effective way. The digital technology has effectively transformed business tasks and activities in that manner by which it is able to produce more and profits are garnered with much ease. In relation to this, business activities are enhanced in a better way and as such, more streamlined has become such tasks and thus, organization is performing well. The project cost is required so that budget may be prepared in effectual manner. Total spending can be estimated by the company which will be incurred for accomplishing stated targets in the best possible manner. Moreover, these are then compared with deviations if any and thus, corrective action can be taken for the purpose of improvement. Expenditures will be needed such as acquiring license for software, networking expense so that small-scale business may be able to synchronize various activities such as marketing, operations, accounting and HR in effective way.
