It begins by analyzing different theoretical approaches, including traditional, agile, waterfall, systems, and program management, highlighting their strengths and weaknesses. The project then explores project control techniques, such as establishing baselines, conducting status meetings, performing reviews, and defining completion criteria, to identify deviations and implement corrective actions. The report emphasizes the importance of effective project control systems for achieving project objectives and adhering to project constraints. By examining these aspects, the project aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of project management principles and practices, offering valuable insights for project managers and students alike. Introduction
Project management refers to the use of the specific
knowledge, skills, tools, techniques and methods for
the purpose of delivering something which is of a

1.Analysis of various theoretical approaches used
within Project Management.
The success of a project depends upon the ability of
the project managers in analyzing what works in favor
of the project and what doesn't. On the basis of which,
they are expected to seek out the better alternative
option for making the project management successful.
The alternate solutions which are then searched and
opted by the project managers are termed as various
project management approaches. The five most
generally utilized project management approaches are
provided below-
1. Traditional approach
2. Agile
3. Waterfall
4. Systems
5. Program management
2.Analysis of the control techniques used to present
a successful Project.
Project control refers to the various processes which
control the actual performance against the formulated
plan for the purpose of identifying the deviations,
measuring the other possible alternate course of
actions and taking the necessary corrective measures.
For a successful project management, developing an
effective project control system is necessary for the
business organization (Alghail, A., and et.al., 2021).
The primary project control areas which directly affect
the results obtained from the projects are as follows:
Safety
Baselines
Status meetings
Reviews
Completion criteria
V-method
Track requirements

From the above presented report on project
management, it can be concluded that project
management is an essential concept which
involves leading an entire team towards attaining
