Introduction
Project management is the different activity which is performed to initiate, Plan, execute,
control and closing up of project to achieve the different goal very efficiently in the specified
time. This report is will be considering London Technology and AI Trade Show as a case
scenario. This report will develop the project development plan for Softwire who used to offer
variety of IT services to the consumer. Participation of trade show which will be constructed in
the last week of August will help the consumer in getting more enhanced facility of logistic and
warehouse to their organizational product. Also, this report will explain the benefit of trade show
and different analysis of potential stakeholder of an organization.
Business Case
Softwire is used to offer different supportive operation to different third party business
in the UK region. Now organization is looking to organize a trade show at a platform which can
help the company in promoting the different offering in the market to encourage business in the
market. In current scenario organization used to offer variety of different It supportive services
to third party, but now Softwire is looking to bring good amount of automation in warehouse
and logistic operation of an business. Reason behind the same is to improve the customer value
and customer base of company in market (Schultz, McEwen and Griffiths, 2016). Organizing a
trade show will provide Softwire a platform to promote different facility of automotive
warehouse and logistic to different consumer in the market so that they are aware about different
offering of the company. They will also look to have different feedback of participation. Proper
feedback and comment of different participation in trade show, …..Softwire will able to get a
good sort of support in implement change in the service before offering it to the consumer in the
market.
Softwire is known for providing high quality of services to different consumer in the
market, this help the company in building a good sort of relationship with the customer in the
market. Also on floor and after sales service of …....Softwire will also play a crucial role in
expanding their business.
Risk Analysis and benefit of trade show

There are many risk associated with organization of this project, one of the biggest risk for the
project manager is financial risk as any shortage of finance at any point in the procedure of the
conducting project, may impact the efficiency of the business. Project sponsor are the one who
are responsible for this type of risk in project. Another risk which is associated with conduction
of the project is the scheduling of the event (Duan and et.al., 2016). This risk may take place
when all the employee in the organization are not clear about the different activity which they
need to perform in the organization. This will impact the processing of the project. Project
manager are the responsible authority for the same. Unproper allocation of resources in project
is another risk associated with the project. As it may lead to wastage of different resources and
increase cost of the company. Resource allocator are the one responsible for this type of risk.
Benefit for organization
There are many different benefit which we be also brought by the trade show to the
organization. Organizing trade show will help company in expanding the network of the
business in market. As trade show will help the company in building good sort of customer base
of company by enhancing the brand awareness about the product in the market. Also trade show
will help company in maintaining a good sort of relationship with different client in the market.
As trade show will open up a professional opportunity for Softwire to manage relationship with
new client and manage different relationship with them in market. This trade show not only will
help the company in getting external benefit it will also help the company in getting internal
benefit as well (Syahdan, Munawaroh, and Akbar, 2018). As trade show will help the company
in understanding the different perception of the customer in the market, on the basis of the same
organization can plan different employee training activity, which can help the company in
building good and efficient human resource in organization.
Potential ROI (Return on Investment)
Return on Investment will help company in finding out the efficiency of different investment
cost.

ROI = 5500/9000 * 100 = 61.1 %
Expected rate of investment by participating in the trade show for SoftwireSoftwire is 61.1%.
This means that there is very high rate of return on investment which is will be very beneficial
for the organization in long run.
Project Plan
Project Milestone
Project milestone plan of the company shows that project will start by developing a
project and allocating project manager for the project. After that different planning will be done
in the organization regarding procurement of different resources for the purpose of carrying out
project in organization (Heagney, 2016). Also planning will including planning regarding budget
which will be require to carry out the project in the organization. Project manager is the
authority in the organization, whom will be dividing different funds to different department in
the project. After that event went into the implication stages, in which organization will make
sure about execute the event after evaluating the primary situation of the event and bring any
sort of changes if any require. Also project manager will also look for different monitoring and
controlling system in the organization. Manager will also make sure to protect the business from
variety of different risk prevailing.
Milestone plan of the project has also make sure that there are many different type of
strategy are also developed in the project to maintain good quality of communication and public
relation in the project.
Gantt Chart
Gantt chart and network diagram for Softwire shows that organization can complete the whole
project by participating in the same for days. This is because critical path of the project shows
the same (van Niekerk and Getz, 2019).

Type of investment
Softwire has to make variety of the investment related to conduction of trade show for
the organization. Organization will be taking different insurance regarding the event and product
to promote good sort of security in the market. Also organization will invest toward any
alternative solution or the service, if this service is fail to create that sort of impact on the
consumer of service.
Stakeholder
Project manager: Project manager is the main stakeholder of the project, as he is the
one who will be responsible to carry out the different outcome of the project (Rasnacis and

Berzisa, 2017). Project manager will be planning and implementing different strategies in the
organization.
Project owner: Project owner is the one in the organization who will be the one who will
be finalizing and approving and coordinating different activity in the project.
Supplier: Supplier are the one who will be providing different raw material to complete
the project in the organization.

Conclusion
After going through the report it has been concluded that Softwire is looking to organize
a event to build a good brand awareness about the product , which company is planning to
introduce in the organization. After that the report concludes that this project is good for
company as high on the the rate of investment prospect as well. As ROI of project is 61.1
percent in the market. The report has analyzed the key benefits and risk in participating into
trade show

Reflection
Taking part in project planning regarding organization of Trade show for the
organization, has helped me in getting good sort of learning and knowledge from the same. As it
was something new for me. In the starting stage I was feeling some sort of the pressure to carry
out different operation of the project in the market. In the initial stage itself it was understood by
me that there are many skill which is possess by me which will prove crucial to carry out
different operation of the business for the organization. Some of such type of the skills are
learning skill, leadership skill and coordinating skill. At same time there are many different type
of skill which are also not possess by me to carry out different operation of the project. This will
eventually impact my performance in term of carrying out the outcome of the project. This will
eventually impact mine performance of in carrying out the project task, some of the such skills
are communication, numeracy, ICT, working with other in team and problem solving skill.

I have developed an effective communication skills while carrying out the project
(Meredith, Mantel Jr, and Shafer, 2017). It has helped me enhance my both written and verbal
communication skills. This way it helped me communicate the idea and take effective decision
which in turn leads to long term sustainable growth and productivity for carrying out the specific
project within the stipulated time frame. This skill has developed me the key quality to
communicate with other individuals. I have also developed effective information communication
technology skills. I know how to use various platforms associated with the ICT to reach and
attain high degree of innovative ways in order to interact with the various people or individuals.
I have also developed skills to effectively use various Microsoft office programs as it helps in
carrying out various set of computer based tasks. This way it helps me in attaining high degree
of operational efficiency and productivity. It has helped me transmit the data on a real time
basis. I have also developed numeracy skill of mine in the project. Reason doing same in the
organization was to get better viability of the different outcome which has been carried out by
me in the project. I have done this by taking part in different seminar and conference in the
market. This has helped me in understanding the different aspect of different numerical issue
which was faced by me in the project in past. Another skill which was developed by me was the
problem solving skill. Reason behind doing the same in the organization is that it was difficult
for me to find out the solution of the different issue which is faced by the employee or me in
carryout project task. This skill was developed by me by evaluating the listing skill of mine. This
has eventually has also helped me in building a good sort of team building skill, as well as I was
able to work with different colleague very effectiveness.
Developing of written communication skills has helped me write letters, circulars and
making of an effective communication plan. This way it helps in effectively managing various
team members to carry out the specific set of project. Verbal communication is useful for me to
communicate with the large audiences. It is useful for me to build confidence to communicate
the idea with the various group of people. It is useful for me to note down various set of
important information and has also helped me to verbally communicate the idea which helps in
taking feedback from the tutor and clear various set of doubts. In order to work on improving my
communication skills I have clearly and concisely transmitted the message to the team members.
Effective communication skills has helped enhance the way I give presentation. It has also
helped me to cater attraction of the audience and keep them engaged. Development of the

communication skills has has helped me in writing a report in a precise and clear format. ICT
Skill in turn eventually helps me in carrying various set of project operations with higher
accuracy and efficiency. I know how to use Microsoft Excel, Microsoft office, Microsoft
word, Microsoft Outlook, etc. This way it has helped me protect and save various set of data
which in turn is very prominent in attainment of project goals and objectives. It was very
interesting for me because it has developed various professional skills and knowledge which is
going to be very beneficial for me in the long run. It has made it easier for me to mange my
work with high degree of accuracy within the set time frame. This has also helped me gain wide
set of knowledge which in turn helped me in attaining various set of skills within the set time
frame. I have also developed skills to develop an attractive power point presentation which helps
me in arranging data in a systematic manner. This helps in effectively communicating the
relevant set of data. Developing a numeracy skill of mine has helped me in building good sort of
knowledge about the different technique through which I cam solve different numeracy problem
in the project, this has eventually helped me in improving the level of the performance of mine
in the organization. Building a listening skill of mine has helped me in getting better pool of the
idea through which I can solve the different issue which is faced by me in the project. As I am
able to understand the variety of different aspect of the issue and on the basis of that I used to
make more efficient decision in the organization. Not only that developing a listening skill has
also helped me in building good team building skill. As with the help of the same I was able to
present good image of mine in front of other colleague in the project task.
Learning this sort of skill has helped me in building good sort of confidence to performs
variety of the different activity in the project. This skill will eventually help me in carrying out
variety of different project in the future as well. Looking at the overall experience of the project
management it can be said that it was one of the pleasant experience. As it has helped me in
gaining variety of different skill and knowledge about different prospect of project management.
