2. Rationale
2.1 Problem Domain
The development of the innovative technology had been helpful for involving the
management of the smart work and standard of living for the people. The information technology
development had helped in forming the improvement of the specific and improved work
development. The problems due to the lack of the home automation are,
a. Lack of Easy Working: The technology innovation has taken over almost all parts of
the operations and it is also required at home for innovating the operations at home.
The delay in completion of the smaller works at home would result in forming the
major setback for the people.
b. Mistakes in Equipment Handling: It is possible that the handling of the equipment
by human would turn to mishap due to lack of understanding. The small mistakes in
handling of equipment could tend to form issue in formation of the project
completion.

4PROJECT PROPOSAL
The IOT based home automation is a fully developed house with the mobile devices,
wireless communication, cloud networking, and power-line communication (Stankovic, 2014).
The use of the effective and smart management of the equipment using the IOT based
automation would allow the formation of the successful and improved development. The
following is the design of the IOT based home automation,
From the above figure it is clear that the connection to the automated device would be
established using the internet and cloud network. The house would be integrated using the Intel
Galileo Board for forming the connection. In place of the board, Arduino can also be used for
making sure that the appliances can get connected to the internet cloud network. The sensory
works would be implied with the continuation of the smart and effective modulation to the
devices. The board would be connected to the power supply. The sensory data has been set for an
optimum threshold value. If the value of any of the sensor attached to the board would rise above
the threshold value, an alarm would be raised. The alarm would form the impact on the relay

resulting in execution of the counter alarms. For example, if the temperature in the thermostats is
higher than the threshold temperature set in the device, the temperature of the weather controller
would be decreased and vice versa.
5. Methodology
5.1 Research method
The research methods required for the IOT based home automation project would be
implied with the management of the innovative and technology. The research method used for
the project information collection is qualitative secondary analysis. The implication would be
implied for the listing the management of the successful work development (Reddy et al., 2016).
The formation of the work can be implied with the listing of the work development. The
secondary analysis would be implied for the listing of the effective work development. The
various data and information collected from the authentic sources would be helpful for forming
the listing of the smart work development. The literature review would be developed following
the qualitative secondary data analysis.
5.2 Systems design methods
According to the study in Froiz-Míguez et al. (2018), an experimental setup using the
sensors for gas, motion, and temperature, LDR, Intel Galileo, WiFi, cloud network, and electrical
appliances. The system would be developed using the principle of threshold and parametric data
input. The data has been saved in the database with the help of webserver and cloud network.
