Section 1: Review
My imagination has always been a driving force in my life influencing the decision’s and
make and the pathways I take to achieve success. My affinity towards learning innovation
and entrepreneurship to forge a successful career influenced me to take up foundation course.
My journey in this course has helped me become well informed in the field of business
development and I am certain that I will be able to build a successful career from the skills
and knowledge I’ve gained throughout my journey under foundation course. I believe that my
primary strength is my technological knowledge and skills including digital technology. This
could not only be seen in my business projects and other academic works. My primary
weakness is my weak commercial awareness as I am not able to quickly identify the practical
and viable ideas from comparatively unprofitable creative ideas that I come with.
Commercial awareness’s referred to as the understanding of business operations and revenue
generation process for a specific industry (McConnell, 2022).

Section 2: Project Concept
My approach towards the sustainability theme is to develop a business project development
project will not only focus on generating profitability but also ensure that sustainable values
are promoted with the help of the business. I will be taking my inspiration from The United
nation sustainability development goals to develop a business project which supports
innovation in the industry while also enabling sustainable development of the sector. I will be
developing a technology focused idea in my Portfolio. My business project development
project will be of an application which helps consumers try their clothing and apparel in
virtual reality trial rooms. I intend to develop a business start-up which helps individuals
easily try out clothes while shopping online so that they rely less on physical shopping and
support sustainability. E commerce and online shopping have lower energy consumption and
releases fewer carbon emissions than traditional retail (Stöckigt, Schiebener and Brand,
2018). This is why the promotion of ecommerce in any industry through innovative products
or services can support a shift towards more economical and sustainable business
environment. I will be using different business models to build an attractive and profitable
application for my business start-up. Moreover I plan to conduct primary as well as
secondary research on the topic of virtual reality trial rooms so that I can understand the
industry market and consumer mind-set more clearly to develop a suitable business start-up.
My final project outcome will focus on delivering a business project of an VR clothing trial
application for the business start-up which is able to attracting retain the target consumer
base.

Section 3: Evaluation
I have understood after reviewing my plans for the final major project that the primary
strength of my business start-up idea is that I can use my technological knowledge effectively
to develop and original and practical business start-up idea. However my plan towards
delivering my final major project has the flaw that it requires time consuming technological
design development and testing for the application of the business start-up which can
possibly increase my stress and lower the quality of the project as application development
usually requires a team effort rather than individual work. However I will be using the
feedback I gain from my peers and I get make my doors to check on the quality of the final
design outcome so that it is able to impress which its originality and viability. Taking
feedback from others is an effective way of improving quality of the project and eliminating
personal bias from affecting impartial evaluation of various aspects of the project (Liu and et.
al., 2019).
