Quality of a project could be defined as a specific product or a service which has
the ability of performing satisfactory as well as suitable for the indented purpose. The project
quality is pivotal to three processes; these processes include project quality management, project
quality assurance and quality control (Shehzad, Giavasis & Benhajali, 2015). Quality of a project
aims at examining whether a specific product or service fulfills the intentions that it has been
manufactured for. Quality can be measured on the basis of its specifications and requirements.
Quality can be measured on the aspects of functional performance and customer satisfaction. The

There are numerous tools that can be utilized for the purpose of planning a particular
project’s quality, these tools and techniques include cause and effect diagram, flow charts,
check-sheet, pareto diagram, histograms, control charts, scatter diagram, bench marking, check
sheet, stratification, run chart and many more (Vihinen, Hancock & Maglott, 2016). These tools
and techniques can be used for various purposes including performing quality control, making
effective budget, designing a good and cost effective project plan.

The Sydney opera house has failed, in the terms of the cost affected by the poor quality of
the project (Tempelmann, Kolpatzik & Ehrenreich, 2019). The project was actually planned to be
