1.0 Project Introduction
1.1 Problem situation
Brum Brew is a medium-sized craft brewery which is based in Birmingham. The said company operates its functional area
with strength of 75 staffs and is currently in 5th year of operations. The said firm is facing some issues in accordance to their decision
which was taken in regards to automate its business by installing the SAP business One ERP cloud-based solutions. In addition to this,
company managers undertook the strategy to install Finance Purchasing and Stock & Distribution modules to marry up to their
existing point of sales system Zettle and thus regulate their ERP system (Aanbari and Kwak, 2018).
Reflecting to the provided case study for the company, given firm have continued to expand their market operations with
increased number of manpower. It was being observed that, undertaken software technology didn't complied well to their core
operational process technology. In its inclusion, 365 office suite that is currently used at Brum Brew is not compatible as well as is
found to be rigid and limiting the productivity of the business firm. Furthermore, stated problem is also found to be complex as it lacks
flexibility in terms of working in uncertain and complex business environment. Being Financial Manager for the stated company a
project plan will be set that will facilitate improvement change to regulate productive operations of the corporate firm (El Mariouli and
Laassiri, 2018).
1.2 Rich picture
The term rich picture refers to project methodology that forms a basis for solving a complex business based problem and
facilitate learning mechanism by drawing detailed illustration of problem components.

For given analysis CATWOE, standards of working in a business firm are set as per defining solutions of respective business
problems. In the process being key considerations to stakeholders of the business firm are being facilitated. The given company i.e.,
Brum Brew are guided to take considerations of standpoints of stated framework, as it will facilitate ethical framework for problem
solving approach (Luszczak, 2019).
Customers: For the given element customers of organisational firm are being taken into consideration. In Brum Brew, these are
considered to be most important stakeholder for the business firm for which changes in business firm are being initiated as per
their relevance to productivity.
Actors: Stated element is an inclusive of employees or staffs working in operational firm and are responsible for carrying
operations which will bring in change in the organisational firm. In relation to given context, key decisions passed to facilitate
change will be done in accordance to interest of these stakeholders. In given process, being financial manager at respective
company, actions in accordance to change technology operations of firm will be initiated.
Transformation process: Under the given element actions in relation to transformation of input such as raw materials or man
power is being transformed to finished good. Inclusive of the scenario systematic approach is being adopted that will facilitate
effective usage of business resources and will ensure enough productivity of firm while in process of change. Furthermore,
SAP ERP system with an equivalent Microsoft Dynamics ERP system will be implemented.
World view: From the business surroundings, various stakeholders of the business could argue for their discomfort in regards
to bring in changes. Effective standards of implementing change will be taken into consideration for the respective company.
Owners: For the given segment of the model, Directors of company would be treated as the last resort for implementing the
change decision in the operational firm. For the purpose being elements like, change productivity, importance and interest of
relevant stakeholders will be taken into consideration.

into consideration. This will be an inclusive of external stakeholders such as; government for which business strategy has to

Project scope
The scope of given project work relates to initiate change in technology operations at Brum Brew. Being financial manager at
respective company, key considerations to effective technology of Microsoft Dynamics ERP system will be implemented.

Brum Brew will adopt Triple constraints for which productivity of the said company will be ensured. Total budget and
estimated cost of £2,80,000.
Technical requirements
Use of project management software and relative technology innovation will be taken into consideration for seeking better
operational productivity of the said company.

The given project will deliver effective changes in respect to technology innovation for the project firm. This will take key
considerations to better implementation of change and will solve the existing problem for the business firm.
