However, the project failed in 2013 due to high cost structure, low forecasting, and beguiling promises that were not met. INTRODUCTION
Project Schedule is a term that spreads news about what a work need to be functioned,
which type of resources are required in order to conduct business functions and which certain
time frame is required in which work could get done in most profitable manner. This report
revolves around NBN company. National Broadcast Network is a firm that is owned by
government of Australia in order to provide world class services and to establish connections
among each and every house of country.

Project Goal
Main objective of constructing this report is to identify what was the cause that became reason of
project failure that firm started to provide high quality broadcast services to clients with about 25
mbps download speed and 50 mbps speed to fixed lane users but in 2013 this project was a
failure. Information regarding project failure was gathered by statement if that time
communication minister who was recently appointed. This project report depends upon
recognising and making solutions of project failure.
Is the project purpose clear?
Main aim of this report is quite clear and researcher knows that should be achieved in which time
frame. Purpose of this assignment is to find out main reasons that are responsible for failure that
was established by National Broadcast Network of Australia. Along with providing information
about all possible models that are suitable in converting failure into success of project.
What are necessary conditions to achieve that goals?
By undertaking all situations that are responsible for failure, it is clear that company had put high
investment in project that became entire project expensive for whole geography and population.
on the very first step situations of examining appropriateness of investing heavy amount of
money in this project should be settled so that unwanted employment of fund could be put
where, there it can produce highest amount of results. There are some conditions which are
necessary in order to achieve company goals:

 Another situation is that company should always need to accept all changes that are
occurring in business environment. Like emergence of latest tools and technologies in the
sector of broadcasting service industry etc.
It is required from corporation that they should set some mandatory level that has to be attained
by each sort of employees but in earlier time these certain lever were not set. Main revolution of
setting some standards and quality level so that each and every staff member could get
knowledge about what they left and what is yet to be achieved.

 High cost structure: Company had been put heavy amount of financial resources to start
this project. At the time of starting association was made this project must expensive one
in whole Australia. Cost was about $42 to $43 per day.
 Low Forecast: It is clear is case that company predicted future opportunities but they
were wrong not only single time but also more that two time forecasting about future
uncertainties was a disaster that was quite prominent for project failure.
 Beguiling promises but not paid: NBN promised its clients that about 25 to 50 mbps
speed of download will be provided in a reasonable rate but association was also failed in
this context also.
There are many reasons behind failure of project but above listed causes are some root causes
that were responsible for project failure. There are various models which are prominent in order

was to connect entire country with one method internet by providing digital
techniques like internet where people can more than one person at the same time
connect through social medias in just limited seconds.

attained at the time of project execution like it was hard for corporation to achieve
those profits that could meet cost structure because it is mentioned in case that
cost structure is very high due to provide quality services to customers but as
project was a fail so for now corporation needs to revise their cost structure where
management of company reduce extra amount of money from business activities.
Other condition is as high cost was employed but still corporation was unable to
provide extraordinary services that was promised to clients etc.

comprehended that cost structure is a set format that must be formulated before
starting project so that all unwanted and undesirable effect could get minimised
and then higher profit and return could be gained in corporation.
