2PROJECT SCOPE MANAGEMENT TECHNIQUESComprehensive measurable goals and objectives are needed to be implemented by the project manager to gain competitive advantages in terms of revenue, productivity and quality as well. It also helps to assess the surrounding market of the business with specific strategies. It will keep the employees focused to their job roles. Activity 31What is the scope of a project? (75–100 words)Project scope is a part of project planning that helps to determine the project goal, deliverables, features, functions, business operation including deadlines and ultimate estimated cost of the project as well. In order to meet the project deliverables following steps including objectives, goals, sub activities, resources, budget and schedules should be maintained. 2Describe how you would obtain, from others, agreement for the project. (75–100 words)In order to ensure that the project stakeholders are agreed to the project deliverables and scope a project closure checklist is needed to be developed by the project head. In addition to this, with the configuration of a flow template the agreement of the stakeholders can be shown. The signature of the project stakeholders will prove that all of them are agree to the project deliverable. However approval is required with each new addition of elements to the project. Activity 41Why should a change, once identified, be implemented as soon as possible? (75–100 words)In order to make a project effective from the owner’s perspectives, open communicationis needed to be implemented by the project manager to consider the innovative ideas ofall the project team members. The changes should be implemented soon after its identification.
