INTRODUCTION
Managing stakeholder within the project is very essential for the success of the project.
The stakeholders are the people who are interested within the success of the project and works
and direction of making the project successful. it is very important for any of the project to take
care that the stakeholders are engaged and satisfied with the operations of the project. The
current report will outline the importance and need of project stakeholder engagement. Also it
will outline the power interest grid off stakeholders in accomplishing the objective of the project.
In the end the report will outline the skills required for maintaining the effective stakeholder
engagement within the project for attaining the objectives of the project.
ACTIVITY 1
Identifying the stakeholders
Stakeholder Purpose or Function
Director The director is a type of stakeholder who is the primary owner of the museum.
The city of Sydney is the primary stakeholder holds and interest within the use
of the site and has also worked protect and maintain the environmental and
cultural heritage in proper manner. The corporate resources and the chief
financial officers are the primary owner of the museum (Oppong, Chan and
Dansoh, 2017). These are the people who are interested towards the successful
working of the museum and to assist in proper evaluation and management of
the museum. The purpose of function of the director is to guide each and every
person interested and involved within the management of the museum in proper
in effective manner.
Sydney
council
This is another type of stakeholder who is also interested within the working of
the museum power house. Sydney council has also partnered with the museum
and is also assisting in the funding of the museum. The council has provided a
large amount of funding which is based on the contingency of completion of the
project till September 2021. Along with this the project of powerhouse museum
is a culturally importance to the Sydney basin as it involves collection of
different types of cultures into a single museum.

Operations
director
This is another set of stakeholders within the successful working of the
powerhouse museum. The operations director responsible for managing the core
operational activities and to a system museum in effectively planning the work
in executing the same. When the execution of all the planned activities is been
taken place in intended manner than this provides a better ineffective opportunity
to the museum to accomplish its goal in intended manner (Nguyen, Mohamed
and Panuwatwanich, 2018). Hence it is very essential for the museum to keep the
operational employees and directors happy and satisfied so that they work
properly and effectively within the working. Also it is essential that there is
harmony and coordination between the activities of operational department as it
is majorly responsible for obtaining all the objectives of the museum.
