In learning and teaching resources play a vital and important role. They are one of the most
important things that helps in meeting individual learning requirements in a proper and
appropriate manner. Identification of appropriate and effective resources also helps in
bringing improvement within teaching method, strategies and many more things.
The report will discuss about the purpose of resource that mainly applicable in learning and
teaching. An effectiveness of specific resources which help for meeting the individual
learning requirement but it may consider an appropriate principle of resource design.
These are helping for selecting the suitable resources. Furthermore, it will describe about
the principle, theories and model of inclusive curriculum design, enabling to adapt the
inclusive approach. However, it will identify the legal requirement as well as responsibilities
of other expertise in term of development, also analysing the implication of intellectual
property rights.

TASK
Explain about the purpose of resources in learning and teaching.
In context of teaching and learning, resources are consider as useful for supporting tools in
teaching by giving the student flexibility to access suitable files. However, the learner
responds positively to visual aid and also tell story in order to explain the abstract and other
unknown relationship.
The learning resources are consider as relevant tool in education which mainly include
overhead projectors, curriculum materials, textbook, flipcharts, videos, images and other
manipulative. The purpose of resources are that when increase great opportunity for student
to explore their knowledge, idea and resolve the problem through skills. The learning and
teaching resources have reliable to support the national curriculum for specific stages within
institutions. In order to approved by other education department or authority (Yaroshenko
and Samborska, 2020).
In additional, curriculum resources should provide the individual differences which are
closely coordinated and selected within specific integrated subject matters, also focused on
the accurate result or standards which easily targets the individual learning.
The resources are basically used to ensure all learners which being engaged with large
number of study materials in order to meet the specific learning requirement. Sometimes
refers to an individual which may prefer to select learning styles and for them to achieve
desirable result or outcome. There is wide range of teaching materials whereas teacher may
use to deliver the instructions of student. Being a teacher specialist, it always requires
considering an efficient tools which always assist and support all student learning with class.
On the other hand, it should be consider the resource which is regularly used to attain or
engage with learner. Also the teaching resources such as supporting teaching, stimulation,
variation and diversification bring opportunities to actively engage with learners (Yaroshenko
and Samborska, 2020).
Therefore, resources are generally used for teacher to understand the specific requirement
of student. There is another purpose of using resources which help for developing
opportunity to engage with leaner. It also provides the direction to accomplishing tasks.

Evaluate the effectiveness of specific resources in meeting individual
learning requirements in teaching as well as learning context.
There are different type of resources that mainly used for purpose of learning and teasing in
the enterprises (Yaroshenko and Samborska, 2020)
The effectiveness of specific resources in meeting both individual learning and teaching
requirement.
The standardisation meeting:
It is one the effectiveness of meeting to gather or collect large amount of information or data
related teaching. The effectiveness for meeting to prepare suitable materials, resources for
induction such as diagnostics assessments, create an effective lesson plans and schedule
of work. This will help for individual person to understand the concept of individual learning.
The effectiveness of resources as meeting to find out accurate details about the overall
learning activities. in order to improve the capability of student.
Internet and online content
Internet and online content is also another important platform or resources to collect more
information about particular subject. This will provide an effectiveness to improve own
ability, skills and knowledge ((Booher, Nadelson and Nadelson, 2020)/ This can be possible
when developing interest towards online learning. Therefore, actively in the online training
session learning and try to demonstrate with the real word, simulation when extending
learning and use of modern technologies (Stachova, Papula and Kohnova, 2019). Different
resources are effective which mainly represent an indicator in term of education, develop
other resource to enrich the curriculum within inclusive ways.
The effectiveness of learner such as student to gain more knowledge through internet,
online content (Visualized learning, 2018).
Used modern technologies
Learner and Teacher both were considered the modern technologies in their daily lives. It
mainly involves resources such as graphic design, modern tool of platform for utilising on
learning abilities.
It help for building the own thinking capabilities and abilities to analyse different innovative
concept. The effectiveness of use modern technology allows for learner or teacher to enable
the learner capabilities. Through this, it has been established the strong relationship with

other colleagues. In additional, modern technology will enhance the overall learning, critical
thinking through discussion.
By using modern technology resources, it automatically develops or build the curiosity
towards wide range of stimulation. In this way, learner or teacher holds more facts, figures
which directly impact on mind set. These resource effectiveness to gain innovation idea in
own career enhancement (Learner distability, 2018).
The effectiveness of social media platform that help for representing as more detailed. It
help for improving own skill and gain more knowledge.
Identifying the principles of resource design
The purpose of learning resource design is to identify the suitable goal and objective.
Sometimes, it can be expressed to define challenge or problem in context of learning
environment (Yaroshenko and Samborska, 2020). When teacher may consider as core
important action for learner to understand the specific need or requirement. The resource
designed is basically related the design decision on current knowledge about the individual
actions of learner. There are different types of principle used in the resource design.
The principle of resource design
There are various principle which mainly used in the resource design such as meeting
learning requirements, SMOG test readability, sufficient quantity and quality, learning
domain (Stachová, Papula and Kohnová, 2019).
These are considering an appropriate principle which always support for measuring the
current ability of resource in order to identify that how it will be beneficial for individual
learner.
Meeting learning needs
Meeting the learning need or requirement of individual that can be monumental task for
teachers but it is an essential part for preparing the student becomes active, effective
learner in their life. The large number of individual learner shares a need for specific
categories of structure within classroom. They have required an appropriate curriculum,
management of learning, motivation as well as understanding. The personal factor may
affect on the current learning culture or environment of individual student.
Furthermore, through this principle identifying the individual learning needs, that student
plays important role in partner of teaching. it can feel sense of personal as well as active
engagement with effective resources (Stachová, Papula and Kohnová, 2019). It leads to

SMOG readability test
It is based on the principle of resource design which mainly used for identifying the
readability of text. Various teachers may use an effective resource for providing the better
learning material (Booher, Nadelson and Nadelson, 2020). In this way, learner can use this
technique to make simple sentence to complex. It should be considered the standard
materials which providing the more idea about the particular subject or topic. Usually,
expertise may adopt the resource to aid an inclusive learning culture or environment.
Fit for purpose
It is also another principle that mainly participate in the resource planning or management. It
must ensure that resources are completely fit-for-purpose and well-equipped for specific
function. The expertise teacher always focused on the impaired learner and implementing
the effective communication strategies((Booher, Nadelson and Nadelson, 2020). In way, it
can resolve the issue or problem with language. Some student does not properly
understand the study materials so that it can provide the information or data by using
different strategies.
Cost effective
The resources are comparatively cost effective and in line with implementing the better
educational institution policies and procedures. Instead of purchasing games and then
provide the materials from internet.

Analyzing different theories, models and principles of inclusive
curriculum design, used to inform resource development.
There are different theories, model and principles of inclusive curriculum design, which
mainly provides the essential resources in context of learning or teaching (Yaroshenko and
Samborska, 2020). An inclusive curriculum design can be defined as one of important
concept which provides all students, in regardless of immutable characteristics and
background. In order to provide the equal opportunity for achieving the learning result or
outcome.
Kolb’s experimental learning theory:
It is based on the learning theory sets out of categorises learning style. Kolb’s explain
that various individual people prefer to select the learning style on the basis of requirement.
There are different factors which influence learner itself selects learning style.
Diverging: In this style, individual learner is able to look the situation or thing from
different perspectives. Therefore, it may prefer to gather or collect information and then
afterwards, it can be resolved specific problem in proper manner (Booher, Nadelson and
Nadelson, 2020). By using diverging style, leaner can perform the situation that requires
considering the innovative idea generation.
Assimilating: this type of learning style is mainly used the learner for concise, logical
approach. The student may consider for good clear explanation rather than practical
opportunity. Learner with consider assimilating learning style, which are focused on the
individual and more interested in idea or abstract concepts. This type of learning style is
adopted by individual person to gather or collect the effectiveness in the information.
Converging: The individual learner with converging learning style that can resolve
problem or issue. In order to find appropriate solution of practical problem. Student may
prefer to perform the technical tasks and less concerned with people, interpersonal
aspects. When people with converging learning style is best way to find out the practical
use for theories, ideas. On the other hand, it enables the specialist and technology abilities.
Accommodating: it is based on the hand-on learning style and also relies on the
intuition rather than other logical concept. Student can use another people analysis and
prefer to take an experimental or practical approach (Stachová, Papula and Kohnová,
2019). In order to attract towards challenges as well as experience. Sometimes, it carried

out the suitable plan which helps for improving their knowledge, skills. This type of learning
style is becoming useful, require for performing action and initiative. The individual leaner
may consider this style during work, when one person can interact with another. Therefore,
they can share the own idea, opinion about the particular task. Afterwards, it also setting
the specific target and actively work in field for achieving desirable goal or objective.
Bloom’s taxonomy model
It is a set of three different hierarchical models which mainly used to classify the various
educational learning objectives. This type of model will be organising the specific learning
objective into different domain. It involves Affective, sensory and cognitive. Bloom’s
taxonomy was mainly developed to promote high form of thinking in context of
education(Stachová, Papula and Kohnová, 2019). It helps for analysing, evaluating the
concepts, process and other relevant principles. Three different domains are associated with
different skills. Bloom’s model is considered as six level structure in which directly influences
the learner to improve their own capabilities. This model is applicable for spiral learning to
develop the resources that are appropriate for individual learner.
Bloom’s model provide the structure that help for teaching a group of student, who have
various type of abilities (Stachová, Papula and Kohnová, 2019). It always support for
differentiating the curriculum. All learners can participate in the different subject during
classroom session. The entire structure of Bloom’s model allows for covering wide range of
individual’s need by applying the questions and activities.
The cognitive model which mainly serves as predominant focus of the Bloom model,
sometimes, it may include the six different objectives but initially, it start with the proper
knowledge. It is initial stage of learning which automatically increases the development of
skills, knowledge and abilities.
The affective domain is also considered as an objective that can be divided into hierarchical
form. It is concerned with feeling or emotions of individual person. Afterwards, it will be
arranged the taxonomy from simpler feeling that are more complex.
The Psychomotor objective that are consider as specific way to discrete physical
functions and also interpretive movements. In traditionally, this type of objective is mainly
concerned about the physical encoding related information. In this way learner also
expressing and interpreting the conceptual logical information.
As per discussion of all three different models of learning also could be identified the
interest towards specific subject matters. As earlier, it can avoid the confusion, if it is simply

In context of curriculum resource design, it would require to develop the flexible or blended
resources, which help for extended the learning opportunities. Sometimes, teacher will try to
create virtual learning environment so that learner can easily access information or subject
materials. Another way, it directly established the communication with teacher while
conducting discussion within class session (Booher, Nadelson and Nadelson, 2020). Being
a teacher, it has continuously faced the certain issue or problem with individual learner, who
will have a learning ability, preference. Generally, it comes from various backgrounds.
Moreover, it can be performed the appropriate tasks, represent as significant challenges
under circumstances.
The Virtual learning environment has been created during classroom session, which may
contain various resources to help individual learners. In particularly, student also
participating into different activities revise and practice for tests. Virtual learning environment
allows for student to access the information in the system by logging. Afterwards, it has
been completed the activities.
Principles of inclusive curriculum design
Inclusive curriculum design
It can be designed to avoid all unwanted or unnecessary barriers to the student
success. At Centre of inclusive curriculum design that mainly signify the clarity as well
as flexibility.
Flexibility and variety of teaching methods: It can be designed to build the programme
in wide range of method accommodate diverse background and other learning
preference.
It should be considerable the different teaching materials that mainly used to
accommodate diverse background, learning new innovative things.
By consideration of Principles of inclusive curriculum design, teacher have been collected all
essential resources, equipment’s and other instruments. These are ensuring that all
appropriate resource suitable for particular study purpose. Teacher may identify relevant or
coherent resources so that learner adapted and taken from authorised sources. Another
way could be learning environment or culture that always inspire or motivate the learner
(Booher, Nadelson and Nadelson, 2020).
In order to clear all doubt in regards of subject through relevant resources when is

Understand the legal requirements, responsibilities in regards of
development, using the resources for analyzing the implication of
intellectual property.
It should be considered the legal requirements and responsibilities in regarding to
development and use of appropriate resources.
Legal requirements
Copy right legislation
It is one of most common legislation which mainly used for protecting the information or
data. The intellectual property can be describing the copy right as protecting or securing
literary, artistic and dramatic. If individual person can use someone work that has applied
copyright law, before taking information which requires getting that permission of particular
person (Booher, Nadelson and Nadelson, 2020). Copyright law apply to how interest that
can be used or transmitted. The educational institution has considered copying license
which allow for teacher to extract the data from relevant resources.
Plagiarism
It also represents someone else’s idea, thoughts, and belief with or without any consent.
Under specific regulation, individual person can use idea of another person, they can
pretend its own. In this way, it has chance of increasing fraud. Being a teacher, it must
carefully ensure that all resource should be authenticated.
Photocopy Restrictions
According to copyright, design & patent act 1988, this legislation has provided the restriction
which copying is imposed under specific legislation (Booher, Nadelson and Nadelson,
2000). Through this law, it always keep in check with regulation on photocopying as well as
restrictions.

Evaluation of sources that inform resource development, including
emerging technology.
Identifying the evaluation of different sources that inform resource development by using
emerging modern technology. But for primary school there are limited resources that are fit
to be used for purpose. Fir this it is important to know that all the chosen resources are well
equipped and fit for purpose. These sources are divided into two categories formal and
informal.
Some of the most common formal sources for resource development are: guidance from top
organizations, professional bodies, subject journals, online resources, and online reviews.
Each of these formal sources is helpful for resource development that is fit for primary
school. Usage of subject journals are helpful and useful (Stirling and et. al., 2016). Not only
this, they are friendly as well. These subject journals are one of the best methods though
which resource development can be done. Subject journals help in effective and proper
resource development and are also in line with procedures and policies of the organization .
(Booher, Nadelson and Nadelson, 2020). It is one of the best sources especially for visually
impaired students and for those who ha e difficulty with different kinds of languages.
Some of the main informal sources of inform resource development is exploration of good
practices by observing colleagues and other professionals. This observation can help in
development of one’s own resources for the subject that is fit for students. There are many
sources that can be used for informed resource development and each of them can be used
in different ways. Study centers or library is another source of inform resource development.
Document Page
Library is one of the best sources where all the required study material is available. This
material can be used for development of one’s own study material which is accessible for
learners and can be easily understood by them.
Primary school students are the one for whom patience and excellent teaching practise is
required so that they learn and memorize things easily. Library provides an access to all
kinds of relevant subject material by using which handouts or other learning material can be
developed much easily (Booher, Nadelson and Nadelson, 2020).
Other than this many times oneself is one of the best source of informed resource
development where one can use their own knowledge and learning for development of
learning material as per the need and requirement of students.
There is excellent and much more relevant material available upon YouTube that can be
used for development of one’s own subject material so that excellent reading and learning
material can be developed for students. Most of the sources that are used for informed
resource development that can be used for primary school students should be easier for
them to catch, learn, memorize other than VAK learning sources (Sun and et. al., 2017).

Analyze ways in which resources can be adapted to enable inclusive
approach
There are various kinds of resources that can be adapted to enable inclusive approach.
These resources are important to be adapted so that all the needs and requirements of
learners can be addressed. It is important for learners from different background who have
different learning styles, abilities and skills etc. These resources help the learners to feel that
they are worth the value.it is important for primary school teachers to focus upon adopting
resources that can be adapted in order to enable inclusive approach.
Some of the most common resources can be adopted for enabling inclusive approach in
primary school.
One of the best ways in which resources can be adopted to enable inclusive approach is to
bring changes within font size and type. Adapting font size and type which is readable and
well understood by all kinds of students even by the students who have difficulty in reading,
understanding languages (Pearson, Lister and Coughlan, 2019). For this primary school
teachers can go on for a SMOG test for readability test so that they can understand and
check whether their material is at correct standard level for all kinds reading ages and
people. this test can help in understanding that the reading material and handouts are easy
to understand for all the age students. For primary school it is important that reading
material is easy to understand and is interesting for students (Pino and Viladot, 2019). So,
for this power point presentations can be developed as for primary school students VAK
learning style is one of the most appropriate style of involving all kinds of students in
learning. For students with reading difficulties font type chosen is often Arial and font size
are often 14 to 18 with black colour so that it is much easier for all kinds of students to learn.
Many times, important things or headings are marked with different colour like red or pink so
that they all kinds of students can easily focus upon them. For primary school students
additional pictures can be added so that
Advance and emerging technology can also be used and adapted in primary school learning
resources especially for visually impaired students. For this assistive device and
technologies can be adopted and resources can also be developed as per these devices as
it will help students with some kind of disabilities to learn at their own pace and if appropriate

technology or device has been used then probably, they can learn and study all alone
(Cosgrove, 2020). While making power point slides different kinds of images can be
included. Images should not describe that they are for only one type or category of students
as primary school students do not have much understanding of images and do not have
much capability to analyse difficult images. So, images that are chosen and included within
presentation should be much easier and simple to be depicted and should easily make the
reader understand what the topic is all about.
Primary school teachers can also focus upon adopting virtual learning environment by using
different kinds of online web sources (Pino and Viladot, 2019. This can help in including all
kinds of resources that can help all kinds’ students to understand the learning material in a
much easier manner. This can be done working with other colleagues teaching in primary
school so that all kinds of important online resources can be shared with each other. This
will help in understanding factors that are required to be abide by and followed or kept in
mind so that material or reading resources can be easily understood by all kinds of readers.

Explanation of ways in which resources can be classified and stored and
ways of sharing resources with other learning professionals
There are different kinds of ways in which resources can be classified and stored.
Resources can be classified in the forms of: learn ad logical system of classification for
retrieval, systematic management and filling of resources, maintenance of archive and
current documents, production and maintained of appropriate catalogues (Pino and Viladot,
2019). This type of classified data can be stored within a secure environment within a
suitable storage system using suitable storage devices such as: within USB devices etc.
As a primary school teach all the resources should be developed in a clear and logical
manner that can be easily understood by their students. They can store it within online
school website and access to those files should be limited so that online parents or
guardians of primary school students can access the material and provide them to their
children. All the data should be categorised in alphabetical order or according to the subject
so that flow of data or information can be understood by students. Data that is provided
online to students or to their parents should have digital signature and should be password
protected so that it cannot be accessed or used by others.
All the data should be classified and on the basis of subjects and study material catalogue of
reading material should be developed so that students can understand and gain an idea of
what reading material will consist of way what type of information or data (De Mauro and et.
al., 2018). For handouts storage format are completely different and for digital resources
storage type is completely different. For computer or digital resources, storage type should
be in form of PDF’s with digital signature and watermark in USB drives and if School has
their own website and cloud storage then it can be stored there with limited access.
There are many different ways though which resources can be shared with other
learning professionals. Sharing of resources with other professionals should be focused
upon so that their resources are not copied or loss of their original resources and its
copyrights are not lost. Some of them have been explained below:

Online file sharing: One of the most common way of sharing information with other
professionals is online sharing. But there are various factors that are required to be focused
upon while sharing resources online with other professionals. For primary school resources
way information is presented is way more important as compared to material so, resources
can be shared online in PDF format in which copy paste is not allowed with water mark and
digital signature (Yaroshenko and Samborska, 2020). This will make it difficult for other
professionals to copy one’s way of presenting material. IT can be shared though emails,
drop boxes etc. If possible, resources that have already been covered by other
professionals or are shared by then should only be shared by them so that chances of
copying material from resources can be reduced.
Social networking sites: Usage of social networking sites or application is increasing
continuously today. This platform can be used for sharing of information with professions.
But in this only a part of resource should be shared or other resources used for development
of one’s own resources should be shared with other professionals so that they cannot
directly copy it.
Providing catalogue or abstract of the study material or resource: Resources like
handouts or that is not available online or digitally should not be directly sent to other
professionals (Stirling and et. al., 2016). Instead of sharing all the handouts or handmade
resources, catalogue of it or an abstract should only be shared with other professionals. This
helps in reducing chances of theft or copying of resources by other professionals.

Evaluation of effectiveness of own design and use of resources and
reflecting on your practice.
Identify areas of strengths in developing and using resources and areas
that are needed to be improved on.
Evaluation of one’s own resources and reflecting upon one’s own practice: Resources
developed by me are fit for their purpose and are quite suitable for primary school students.
As such students memorize thing s that they see and observe as compared to things that
they read or hear. Development of handouts, videos, presentations in which large font size
with different colour and more pictures resources not only helps in making learning easy for
primary school students but also makes learning interesting for such students (Booher,
Nadelson and Nadelson, 2020).
Providing resources online or though any other digital resources makes learning much
flexible and for students who have difficulty in learning, reading or are suffering from other
disabilities, these types of handouts or digital resources makes it easier for them to learn
themselves. It is one of the most effective way of resource development that can be
completed in an appropriate time using less materials and advance technologies.
Identification own’s own strengths in development of resources: Some of my main strength
in developing and using resources were: First is my digital skill and knowledge helped me in
using different range of sources for development of my own resources. It also helped me in
designing my own resources in such a manner that it is suitable for all kinds of students. It
further helped in adapting an inclusive environment for primary school students.
Usage of information and communication technology was another one of my main strength
which not only helped me in development of resources of primary school students but also
helped me in development and protecting my resources so that loss of information or theft of
information changes can be reduced and my resources can be protected from others.
However, there are still many areas that are still required to be developed, such as: I still
need to understand different range of learning needs for students and ways in which I can
address those needs (Booher, Nadelson and Nadelson, 2020). This will help me in
understanding changes that are required to be brought by me within my resource
development or any other kinds of new or emerging technology or devices that are required
to be adopted by me so that I can address all kinds of learning needs of students. I still need

to gain understanding of different kinds of assistive devices that can be adopted by me for
adaption of inclusive environment in which each and every students is provided with equal
opportunism of learning.
CONCLUSION
In above discussion, it has been summarised about the concept of teaching and
learning. Therefore, it is mainly focused on the significance of modern technologies and
resources to improve own ability in order to gain more knowledge about particular subject or
topic. It can be discussed about the resources which help for meeting the individual learning
requirement but it may consider an appropriate principle of resources design. It has
analysed the about the purpose of resource that mainly applicable in learning and teaching,
which are helping for considerable the suitable resources.
Furthermore, it can be identified the different principle, theories and model of inclusive
curriculum design which enabled to adopt the inclusive approach. However, it has described
that legal requirement and responsibilities of particular teacher which can handle the
different activities.
