INTRODUCTION
Project management is the technique which is used to monitor and analyse the projects that
are undertaken by the individuals for the purpose of completing the project activities
systematically. While trying to complete a specific project the managers are required to be
focused with different activities such as initiation, planning, monitoring and analysing (Albrecht
and Spang,2016). Present report is based upon the project of Camden Sickle Cell and
Thalassaemia Service Group which is organising a music event for the purpose of fund raising.
This assignment covers various topics such as a proper and well-structured network diagram for
the project, stakeholder analysis, work breakdown structure, risk analysis etc. Apart from this,
the best suitable methodology for the project is also covered in this assignment.
TASK 1
Development of network diagram for all the activities along with the calculation of EST, LST,
EFT and LFT for activities
Network diagram could be defined as a well strcutrued chart which is used to reflect all the
activities seperately so that all the individuals can understand the project properly. With the help
of it, all the tasks, workflow and responsibilities could be represented in a graphical manner. It is
mainly used to map out the schduel and work sequence of the project. For the music event the
network diagram along with all the other requirements is as follows:

The shortest distance ion the network diagram is known as critical path. The shortest duration in
the above diagram is 116 days and the activities for the same are 1, 2, 4, 5, 9, 10, 21, and 22.
TASK 2
Stakeholder analysis for the project with identification of internal and external stakeholders
Stakeholder analysis could be defined as the assessment which is conducted for the
purpose of analysing different stakeholders. With the help of it, interest and power of all the
stakeholders could be analysed (Batselier and Vanhoucke, 2016). For the music event different
types of stakeholders are discussed below:
Internal stakeholders: The insider parties of the entity which are related to business are
known as internal stakeholders. Some of them are shareholders, employees, managers. Their
main role is to analyse actual performance of business and determine that all the long as well as
short term goals are accomplished.
External stakeholders: The external parties which are mainly interested in the
performance of business are known as external stakeholders. Some of them are government,
creditors, sponsors, customers etc. They analyse the performance for the purpose of making sure
that they have took best decision of becoming part of the entity or not.
In order to analyse all the stakeholder’s, stakeholder matrix is used and discussion of all
the key categories of it is as follows:
High power high interest: When all the stakeholders have power of decision making
and they are also concerned with good performance of business then they will be considered as
the part of this category. For the event, these stakeholders will be sponsors, investors, creditors
etc. They are interested in the successful completion of event and able to formulate decisions for
the same.
High power low interest: These stakeholders are such individuals who are having high
power of influencing the event or business but they are not interested in performance. For the
music event government will be the stakeholder with high power and low interest. A new policy
for the events could be formulated by legal authorities which will be required to be followed by
the organisers.
Low power high interest: All the stakeholders who are not having any power of
decision making but they are interested in the performance of the enterprise are considered as the

part of this category. Customers or the individuals who will be attending the event will be the
stakeholders with low power and high interest (Galli,2018).
Low power low interest: The stakeholders who are not having any right to formulate
decision and they are also not interested in the performance of business are considered as the part
of this category. The employees and volunteers who will be working at the event will be these
stakeholders.
TASK 3
Formulation of clearly numbered Work Breakdown Structure alongside an organisational
structure for the music event
Word breakdown structure: It is the segregation of different activities which are
required to be performed for the purpose of assigning responsibilities to all the staff members so
that all the tasks could be accomplished in systematic manner (Obradović, Kostić and Mitrović,
2016). For the music event the WBS is as follows:
