1.Basic concept of sustainability:
Sustainability: Sustainability refers to ability to exist in the environment or the methods or
approaches which helps in preserving the natural sources which help in the development and
managing the ecological balance. That is required for the development and safe working of the
organization. Sustainability refers to the survival of the structure(physical structure) of the
industry and its maintenance, by wise use of the natural resources within the organization. This
aims to work for the sustainability of the organizational structure and maintaining the quality of
structure and design(Burdoucci, 2018).
Natural resources used by the organization:
Resources like bricks made up of clay are being used as natural resource which can help in
development of a sustainable and ecological balance with the nature use of resource for making
the structure better which can cooperate with the ecological balancing providing no harm and are
natural.
Cement used consist of natural binding materials like limestone which are found in a large
quantity and are best natural binding agent these can make structure strong and durable.
Glasses prepared from natural materials like sand, soda ash and lime stone(Carbone and Picchio,
2019).
These are the mate4rial used by the organization which is used by 'Can O Water' which can be
useful as per the norms of the government under various legislation rules set by the government
of UK.
Description of sustainable consideration:
Wise use of natural resources which can help in proper management of the work techniques
which can provide a safe working environment with respect to providing an ecological balance to
the environment and the organization. Organization must ensure lesser use of artificial products
like use of plastics and chemical induced products which can be a threat to structural imbalance.
Using the natural materials which can affect the structure and decreases its life cycle. Using solar
system in the organization which can minimize the use of the electricity. The structure must be
made such that inflow of natural light and air must be maximum which can have an positive
impact on the life cycle on employees(Oakes and Propertysafe, 2015).

2.Environmental issues and legislation:
For an organization it is very much important to use norms and rules which is set up by the
government. Which must be followed in guidelines in developing an organizational structure.
There are many legal laws about the structure and making of a property and maintaining it.
Environmental issues like hazard safety must be kept in mind while construction of the building ,
various escape routes must be made to safeguard the workers. Building must be able to sustain
disasters like floods, rains, earthquakes etc. which must not affect the workplace and structure
must be able to sustain in such conditions.
Proper management of waste like proper sewerage and solid wastes must be minimized and wise
use of waste management must be done in order to minimize the waste practices. Government of
UK. Proper waste management must be conducted and waste should be minimized which can
beneficial for health issues(Peredo, Haugh and McLean, 2017).
Property maintenance must be done in by seeking the need of the maintenance. It must include
various facilities like:
 emergency respond and safety: to ensure safe working environment to the workers and
providing a safe passage at the time of emergency.
 Fire safety: fire safety equipment must be updated with time and safety precautions and
use of it must be taught(Sommer and Sullivan, 2018).
 Waste management: Proper use of waste management must be done in order to provide a
safe channel and safe working environment.
 Constructional laws: to safeguard the environment use of chemical must be minimized
which can safeguard environment.
 Provide a safe social culture like planting of trees providing green corridor for better
sustainability in the environment(Theyel, Hofmann and Gregory, 2018).
3.Minimizing energy sources:
Can O water can use a wise source like minimizing the use of electricity, by implementing the
solar panels and use of resources like natural light which can be used in to minimize the use of
electricity, which will save energy and money for the organization.
Waste management can be done by implementing waste management techniques which can be
used to save energy as waste can generate energy which can be used to run small machine by
minimizing the use of natural gases in boilers and recyclers(Williams and et.al, 2017).

Use of rain water into a pit can be used in toilets by minimizing the use of fresh water. Rain
water harvesting can be done in large scale which can be used in many alternatives by proper
use.
4.Measures to control and monitor waste:
There are many modern equipment which can be used to regulate the use of energy which
ensures the use of energy in a wiser way these can be used to calculate the amount of energy
used which can be further regulated and used wisely, various measures are developed after
calculating the amount of energy consumption(Yoshida and et.al., 2016).
