PROPOSAL ON THE SIMULATION GAME
Executive summary:
This report has been based on the description on the strategies which have been applied for
completing the business simulation game known as Gazillionaire. A group game has been
played and the focus has been to buy the properties at different planets. Spaceship has been
purchased for reaching the planet and then, the group members competed with each other for
enhancing their position in the marketplace. The position in the market place has been
decided by calculating the profit and loss that has been incurred by each player. Moreover;
the factors of loan and the selling prices of the properties also have impacted the position in
the marketplace in the game. The group member who has managed to remain in the top
position at the end of the game has been selected as the winner.
This has been an extremely interesting game and different strategies have been used for
conducting the trade with the aliens of the game. The simulation game has helped in learning
about the basic business strategies which can be applied for enhancing the possibility for
profits. Therefore; there has been a tough competition among the team members for
implementing some useful strategies in the vision of emerging as the winner. The game has
been played in the beginner level so that it would be possible to learn about the strategies and
then to apply those in the game without difficulties. Profits from each week determined the
strategies that were developed for the following weeks. In this way, the group members have
been able to advance in the simulation game.
After discussing about the strategies and the result of the game, a self-reflection has been
highlighted in this report as well. The self-reflection has been based on the lessons that have
been learned by playing this business simulation game within a group. It helped to understand
about the strategies that can be applied in the future while developing some important
business strategies for the organizations.

Introduction:
A brief outline of the simulation game:
The business simulation game which is known as Gazillionaire is based on a
simulated environment in which the players can buy the properties, maintain those and then,
they can sell those properties for gaining profits. Loans can be taken for developing the
properties ("Gazillionaire - Business Simulation Games Best Money Financial Sims", 2020).
Players need to deal with the aliens of various planets to whom they can sell their properties.
In this way, they can buy, sell and maintain the properties in various planets. First of all, a
suitable spaceship is selected which can help in taking the players to the intended planets. In
this aspect, the choice of the spaceship is an important factor which can help in implementing
the strategies for choosing the proper properties in the planets. Each player needs to wait for
the other players in the group for competing with each other. In this way, when a group is
formed, then the players can compete with each other for emerging as the winner of this
simulated business game. After buying the suitable properties, the next strategy is to keep the
maintenance cost. These include the remunerations of the employees and other business
expenses.
Then, the players can sell the properties to the dealers, when the stock of their properties
becomes higher. The group member, who can maintain the highest balance money in the
stock at the end of the game, tops the market place and eventually becomes the winner of the
game. Even, the simulation game also displays the profits and losses for each player and thus,
the players become aware of the strategies that they need to implement for gaining
competitive advantage over the other players in the group (Levant, Coulmont & Sandu,
2016). Weekly profits for each player are also displayed in this game and then, the players
also become aware of the ticket price for reaching the next planet in the game. Players also
become aware of the position of the company in the stock market which given an added
advantage on developing the game strategies.
