This report examines the standard EPI and periodically rotated overlapping parallel lines with enhanced reconstruction (PROPELLER) image quality, artefact, and distortion for prostate magnetic resonance imaging DWI in patients with hip replacement. The report discusses the benefits of MRI over CT, the use of multi-parametric MRI methods, and the use of DW-MRI in prostate cancer detection. The study also evaluates the effectiveness of PROPELLER-DWI-FS and PROPELLER-DWI-NFS in reducing artefacts and distortion in prostate MRI. The report includes two figures showing improved lesion assessment and reduction in artefact at non-fat saturated PROPELLER DWI.
