Protein Structure Prediction

The word "protein" comes from "proteios," which means "holding first place." Proteins are unique to each species. This means that proteins from one species are not the same as proteins from another species. They are also unique to each organ. For example, the proteins in the brain, liver, and muscles are all different, even in the same organism.
