INTRODUCTIONProsthesis refers to an artificial part of body such as limb, heart, breast and teeth implantin proper manner. It involves about fixing and removing oral parts for restoring intra oral defectsincluding missing teeth and missing soft & hard structure of mouth (Swelemand et. al., 2014).This assignment will focus on equipments and impression material for fixed and removableprosthesis.MAIN BODY1.1 Individual's charts and recordsThe dental records of an adult showing condition of overall teeth which is given below – (Source:Adult tooth chart, 2018)1.2 Equipments for taking shadesThe Equipments for taking shades involves mirrors, dental forceps, frame, magnifyinglenses, shade guides, markers so that appropriate shade can be implant in the mouth. 1.3 Support operator during taking the shadesThis is very important to support operators during taking the shades matching withpatient's natural organ then focus is required by providing every equipments in correct sequence.It involves the criteria of proper positioning of shade tabs for dentin and incisal matching.Illustration 1: Adult tooth chart
