There are various insights that need to be considered in emotional intelligence explicitly
linked to the role of the early childhood professional working especially with the infants, young
children, and the toddlers. This is basically with the connection with the importance of the
relationship for learning. The following are some of the key insights that have been identified.
Unconditional love
This is considered as the key insight in connection with emotional intelligence. It is one
of the important aspects and virtue to be considered when working in an early childhood
professional job dealing with infants, toddlers, and young children (1:18). There is a need for the
connection between the person in this profession and children. Unconditional love is key insight
when it comes to the connection between the children and the professional person. Loving
children will bring a strong bond with them (Robson, 2019). In this case, toddlers, infants, and
young children will share their feeling experience with the professional taking care of them. In
this way, one will be able to understand the needs of the children by studying their behavior
closely.
Brain building
This involves preparing children for future aspects. This is a key aspect because every
child needs to be prepared for the future aspect. Just like a building need a strong foundation, so
should be children as they prepare for the future. Life is full of stress, threats, abuse and all
manner of negative aspects (0:49). Children need to be prepared on how to face such kinds of
negativities in the future. If the child is not well prepared for future challenges it may result in
