Erik Erikson'sb was described as the ego Psychologist who developed and create the
influential and most popular theories of the development. Erik Erikson provides the 8 stages in
their theory are here -
Stage 1- Trust vs. Mistrust
The first take place between the birth of child and 1 years of age and this is the most
fundamental step because an infantry is utterly depended, and they develop the trust and it is
base don the quality and dependability. Trust development on the adult care, their love and many

Stage- 2 Autonomy Vs shame and Doubt
It is the early childhood stage and this stage is focused to crate great send of personal
control in child. In this stage child develop the personal controls and demand to understand, they

Stage 3 Imitative Vs Guilt
children begin to assertion their control and the power over the globe through directing
play and other interactions socially and child started to feel that they are capable to lead others
Those who failed to get these skills are left with a sense of guilt in himself, self-doubt, and lack
of initiative.
Stage 4- Industry Vs Inferiority
This stage take place in the age of 5 to 11 during the school years , the child begin to
developed the sense of pride and their abilities and accomplishment.
