INTRODUCTION
In psychology, the Stroop effects is considered as demonstration for the cognitive interference.
In addition to that Stroop is the innovative research method which is famous for elegant level of
simplicity in the psychological testing. The Stroop effects have consideration of various
demonstration in terms of cognitive interferences where the delay in term of reaction type have
been occurred due the major mismatch of stimuli. This effect has been used to have the creation
of the psychological testing with high participation in clinical testing and investigation. The
effects have the several level of variation of the same test which are three different kinds of
stimuli as the names of colour appeared in black ink; names of colour in different inks than the
colour name.
LITERATURE REVIEW
As per the (Kinoshita, Mills and Norris, 2018), the Stroop effect has been used to proper
investigations the person psychological capacities which is been popular as the
neuropsychological testing. The author also added that’s there are different level of test variants
which is been commonly used in the clinical settings with the difference in level of subtask,
types and number of stimuli, time required for task along with scoring procedure. On the other
hand, the author contradicts that there is negative priming which can be termed as the difference
in between respond times of the incongruent primed trails which is done for the targeted ink in
level of proceeding trials.
According to the view of (White, Risko and Besner, 2016), emotional Stroop have the serving of
information which is processing existence of different approaches towards the emotion. The
author also supported the statement in respective research, it has been revealed that the colour of
negative words is slower than the colour of neutral word. In the condition of emotional Stroop
and classical one, there is the need to have the suppressing irrelevant and distractions
information’s as there is difference between two. On the other hand, the (Shichel and Tzelgov,
2018) contradict that’s the spatial Stroop have the demonstration of the interference between the
stimulus level of locations with location in stimuli. This suggested a comparison of the
interfering effect of colour stimuli upon reading names of colours (the two types of stimuli being
presented simultaneously) with the interfering effect of word stimuli upon naming colours
themselves.

METHODOLOGY
Research methodology is considered as the important aspects to have the proper planning in
terms of data collection and data analysis in order to have achievements of the respective data. In
this research, there are total number of the 10 participants which have the inclusion of the 5 male
and 5 females in university of Malaysia. The participants will be been selected on the random
basis as to have the conducting the level of Stroop test on the different participants so that’s the
accurate results can be achieved in more perfect manner.
In addition to that’s, the researcher has the looked over the normative studies of the SCWT that
is Stroop colour and word test is a neuropsychological test extensively used to assess the ability
to inhibit cognitive interference that occurs when the processing of a specific stimulus feature
impedes the simultaneous processing of a second stimulus attribute, well-known as the Stroop
Effect.
The method of the conducting the Stroop test will be on basis of experiments on the different
participants as the first task is to have the experiments of effect of interfering colour stimuli upon
the reading names of colour serially (Washburn, 2016). The colour which have been used are
such as the red, blue green, brown and purple. On substance the colour was arranged as to have
the avoidance of regularity as the colour use to appear twice in each line as the no words
immediately have the succeeding itself level in entire low. This test in also known as the reading
colour names, he prints and the word are different.
