PUBLIC HEALTH 2
Globally, it is the role of public health to improve sanitation, control diseases, provide
immunizations to children below five years and ensure the safety of food and also the water
supply. But considering the global challenges of the 21st century, I feel pessimistic because there
is no future direction of global public health. This is because today, the challenges in public
health have grown broader. The health disparities have increased, and more complex problems
have increased in this sector. This means the public health landscape has been crowded globally,
and the overall care is not taken care of. More health issues have raised, and hence, the
stakeholders aren’t providing any solutions to the health issues. Unhealthy lifestyle has increased
globally, and hence there are high mortality rates due to this issue because of the poor health due
to this their early childhood obesity, which was not experienced before. The policies and goals
implemented are not well-taken care and that why most of the countries, for example, Australia
they are experiencing a gap (O’Neil et al., 2017).
Chronic diseases have become more evident in many societies, and hence, these have
created a more significant burden in most of the countries globally. Most of the skilled workers
leave the countries which they trained in to join the well-developed countries because they will
be paid well. This means in most of the developing countries, there is a shortage of health
workers, and hence, the care essentials are to well provided. In most of the countries, the health
care services are inadequate; accordingly, most of them cannot manage the high population
growth hence increased mortality rates. Most of the developing countries globally are faced with
poverty; therefore, this means that there is a high growth of slums, which leads to poor health
systems in the area. There is inadequate surge capacity to cope with the next influenza pandemic;
this implies that still high mortality rates will be received due to the epidemic. According to all
