Executive Summary
Kingston upon Hull, has been identified as the number one city of several mental illnesses
such as depression, anxieties phobias, Schizophrenia and others where the focus will be the
population suffering with PTSD. The number of mentally ill population is going to increase
rapidly. The mission of this project is to develop a social enterprise with adequate healthcare
facilities to improve the lives of local people of Kingston upon Hull who are suffering from
mental health problems especially after serious incident.
In first 6 months, the total expenses will be the addition of operational expenses and initial
expenses that is 376050 pounds. However, after establishment the monthly expense will be
only the operational cost that is 149550 pounds. The total time required to achieve the goals
is 18 months. This project will use a mixed data collection and analysis method where both
primary and secondary data collection process will be used with the qualitative and
quantitative data analysis procedures.

Introduction and mission:
Community health studies and health enhancement projects are two pillars of
community related effective healthcare activities. A healthcare plan for community
improvement should have a proper structure and systematic approach that could increase the
chances of achieving the goal of enhancing community health (McGorry, Bates and
Birchwood 2013). This is a project plan for a public health project based on improvement of
mental health of local community. The chosen community of this project is the local people
of Kingston upon Hull, a city of UK situated in East Yorkshire, England. As per the statistical
report of NHS published in 2017, Hull has been identified as the number one city of several
mental illnesses such as depression, anxieties and phobias. The name of this project is
Community Mental Health Improvement.
From the community analysis which will be discussed with details in the next part, it has
been found that the community of Kingston upon Hull requires a support and treatment to
improve their mental health condition. Therefore, the purpose of this project is to improve the
mental health conduction of the chosen community. Therefore, the mission of this project is:

In this project plan the project background, community details and implementation plan will
be discussed. Within the implementation plan, the activity plan, resource planning and
method of execution have been presented. The timeline has been also presented with a excel
based Gantt chart. In the resource planning the physical resource, human resource and
financial resource required to achieve the goals will be discussed. The method of executing
