SUMMARY
Inflammatory Bone Disease can be occurred due to genetic disorder or problems in the
immune systems. The public health intervention in inflammatory bone diseases includes various
methods and strategies are life style change, rehabilitative strategies and evidence based
strategies. For health promotion various approaches can be used that are health education,
information, education and communication and communication for behavioral changes.
Education must be provided to the patient so that they can easily overcome form such disease.
Health awareness should be provided to the youth generation so that can safeguards against such
dangerous disease and can avoid the individual to perform such practices which can lead to
infection or further cancer.
In wellness program, communications also helps patient to recover very soon from such
diseases and help the other individual from adopting the positive practices to avoid such diseases
this can include the public services, mass media campaigns, health fairs and newsletters. Health
promotions and disease prevention basic strategies are enabling, advocacy and mediating this
will help the individual to focus on helping people to keep healthy. This helps individuals to
choose the healthy behaviors and can implement change which help them to reduce risk of
chronic diseases and other morbidity. The individual can prevented by accessing to health
services so that they can safeguard their life by this harmful disease which can further turn into
the dangerous from of cancer.
INTRODUCTION
Inflammatory Bone Disease encompass infections and outcomes of immunologically
mediated systemic and local disease. Infections are involved in joints and bones that can be
separately or together as well which may result in necrosis with features of inflammatory
determined as the infection or cancer further. There are five signs which characterize conditions
that are pain, redness, swelling, heat and loss of function in the joins and bones. The infecting
organisms that can be fungal or micro bacterial and bacterial are presented at the infected area
but occasionally they are no longer visible. Requirements of distinction from Sarcoidosis is
required in the Granulomatous infection in joints and bones. The diagnosis of the inflammatory
disease of the joints and bones requires the information from many sources that can be
serological, clinical, radiographic, microbiological and pathological etc. This all helps the nurse

and doctors to avail through the causing bacteria, organism or fungus so that further they can
diagnose the patient according to the type of germs and spread of infection in the joints and
bones. The treatment that can be given are analgetics, desintoxication, antibiotics, correction of
metabolism, immuno-correction and vitamins , nutrition etc., Surgical treatment can also given if
it is very severe for wound closure, complete debridement and skeletal stabilization(Lamont, R.J.
and Hajishengallis, G., 2015).
In the above study evaluation of needs and priorities of a adult community or population
with the help of national and local health data. Examine the application and effectiveness of
public health interventions. Further the study carried forward with the description to the roles
and responsibilities of nurse community practitioners for promoting health and protecting adults
at risk. The study ends with the identification of model for health promotions and describing the
frameworks for health promotions and discussing the application on such model.
MAIN BODY
Effectiveness of public health intervention and health priorities
According to (Mbalaviele and et.al., (2017) inflammatory infection has been taking
severe forms of cancer and infectious diseases among adult population among adults as well as
children in UK. In UK there are around 115,000 people who are suffering from inflammatory
bone disease under the age of 21 years. Though there has been huge advancements in the type
and actions of antibiotic in the treatment and prevention of the issue. However the accurate
diagnosis of the infection site has been major challenge for the clinicians. There is high need that
prompt diagnosis of the bone infection must be performed so that associated health risks such as
deformity, cancerous growth of the tissue, severe bone destruction can be reduced. The existing
public health interventions for the disease are not considered to be sufficient enough and needs a
good number of improvements. The health care professionals experiences difficulties in timely
and accurate diagnosis of the disease (Alippe and Mbalaviele, 2019). Though at present physical
examination, evaluation of blood parameters and radiographs are satisfactory in the diagnosis of
disease however in the early stages these measurements does not proves to be effective. In order
to improve the health outcomes of the vulnerable adult groups health care service providers are
aiming at adopting modern imaging tools so that skeletal and bone infections can be easily
detected. For enhancing the patients health outcomes imaging outcomes must be integrated with

the appropriate clinical background and pathophysiology of the disease. Such evidences based
strategies are helpful in making accurate and effective clinical decisions.
Roles and responsibilities of community health practitioners
The nurses and health practitioners plays an important role in management of
inflammatory bone infections. Most of the adults and children does not pay timely attention to
the physiological changes which enhances the severity of infection. Thus health care
professionals helps individuals to identify the symptoms of the infection and to immediately
respond to the treatment strategies. One of the most significant and fundamental treatment
strategies used by the nurses is to assess the individual needs of patient and to provide antibiotic
treatment. However for the safety of patient it is necessary that there must be regular monitoring
of the disease progression (Ponzoni and et.al., 2018). In the cases when medications are not
sufficient or significant results are not obtained surgical drainage is also performed.
The physical exercise, life style changes and smoking and food habits can also affect the
infection risk. Thus in order to control the infection it is highly recommended that timely
imaging and diagnosis of the infection must be conducted on priority basis. Most of the adults
are usually unaware of the care interventions for controlling the infection. Thus nurses and health
practitioners must emphasis on encouraging individuals so that they can timely diagnose the
infection. The morbidity related to disease can be reduced to great extent when it is diagnosed on
time. The quality of imaging techniques is crucial for the same. Hence along with the awareness
nurses and community service practitioners must assure that low cost imaging services are
available to individuals so that they can access the health care services easily.
Health promotional framework
The existing health promotional framework for the bone infection diseases not only
emphasis on antibiotic medications but it also focus on various other clinical aspects. The health
service providers assure that individuals with the risk factors take sufficient nutritional intake.
Vitamin D and calcium rich intake food lead to quick recovery from the disease. In addition to
the improvements in life style and food intake the health promotional model also encourage
individuals to improve their life style and to quit practices such as smoking and junk food. The
protection programs also includes programs for muscle strengthening and weight bearing
exercises, restriction of alcohol, tobacco and smoking and minimisation of the fall risks (Newby,
2016). Along with these necessary changes the health care model also comprises effective

imaging techniques and pharmacological needs of the patient so that fracture risks and infection
vulnerabilities can be reduced. Various physiotherapies along with the intake of antibiotic drugs
have been proven to be highly effective in terms of improving health outcomes for the patients. It
is recommended that these measurements must be adopted and monitored by the patients as well
as health service providers so that life long disability and infection growth can be avoided
(Sevim and et.al., 2018). The primary health care providers must mandate the detection,
treatment and prevention of the infection.
CONCLUSION
From the above study it is concluded that bone inflation is not so common disease in UK
but it is a sever disease which can lead to many health issues to a person. So, it is required to
have proper public health intervention programs which can help in generating awareness of the
disease within the country. There are various health promotion diseases prevention strategies
which can help in minimizing its negative effects on the people suffering from. Present report
also concludes that there are various type of bone inflammatory disease which can cause various
problems to the people. In order to promote health and protect adults from such risk nurses play
an important role generating awareness and providing effective treatment of adults suffering
form this disease as well. In order to serve the community health promotional model plays an
important role as it helps in serving the community effectively.
Recommendations
In minimize the effect nurse should be provided with proper training in order to take care
of adults suffering from bone inflammatory disease as there are various type of disorders
related to it.
Also, UK should provide efforts and policies which support the public health intervention
programs.
It is also recommended that proper promotional programs should be launched which
should cover all the aspects for promoting health and minimise the risks faced by adults.
