INTRODUCTION
Health inequality is defined as the gap between health outcomes of various
population or groups. This can emerged as result of differences in social or
economic factor, geographical aspect as well as specific characteristics such as
gender or disability.
For the growth and well being of society and nation it is required that public
health issues must be addressed and resolved to reduce the inequality gaps.

HEALTH INEQUALITY PRINCIPLES AND
ILLNESS
Diseases are functional abnormalities which needs appropriate treatment so
that individual can work and live properly. However the feelings or
emotional discomfort such as pain or stress is defined as illness which can
even worsen the symptoms or progression of diseases.
Various factors such as income, education level, cultural beliefs, race,
gender or specific characteristics can affect the prevalence or the treatment
strategy of public health.
While formulating health care policies these factors are considered and even
included to define the extent and implementation of the public health
policies.

Health care inequalities can be managed by cooperation and partnership of
community, health care workers as well as responsible authorities which support the
legislative and financial or management prospects of health care system.
If health care inequalities are not identified and addressed on time then it can lead to
wider imbalance between the mortality rates, life expectancy, quality of life as well as
development of population
