INTRODUCTION
Public health is an science which assist in protecting and making strategies for protecting
people from suffering from different health issues (WHAT IS THE DEFINITION OF PUBLIC
HEALTH?, 2019). There is discussion about breast cancer which is major issue among people
these days and due to lack of medical facilities, they are not able to get proper medication in lieu
of it. In this study, there is discussion about public issue policy “National Cancer Control
Programmes (NCCP)” through which patient cancer in UK might get reduced (Roux, 2018). In
this essay, there is discussion about background of the policy issue, then there is complete
discussion about policy issues. At last conclusion will be provided which discusses impact after
implementing policy.
BACKGROUND
Health is the state of physical, mental balance of an individuals. In case of any mis
balance, there are possibilities that individuals is not fit, this improper mental health issue is
because of improper surrounding and eating habits. Breast cancer is major issue in UK. As per
report, it is analysed that one women out of every seven is suffering from it. There are around
55000 women who are suffering from breast cancer and in rare case men too get affected of it
(Public Health England launches nationwide breast cancer campaign, 2019). There is complete
and specific information to women about breast cancer through which they can get proper
understanding about it. There are many campaigns which is organised for individuals about
breast cancer. It is evaluated that women of year 70 is at risk because of breast cancer. Public
Health England organise many campaigns with the help of which individuals are able to
understand about changes in better and effective and manner. With the help of it, it is easy for
people to create awareness among people about symptoms of breast cancer (Hanson and
Gluckman, 2015). It is analysed that 13400 women is suffering from breast cancer which is
above the age of 70 years. With asking the question about symptoms of breast cancer majority of
women says its lump but at health care organisations, 30% of the women is affected with breast
cancer but they have symptom other than lump. With the help of campaigns for awareness
organised by Public Health England people get to know about it properly an this reduces the
number of death because of it.

From the above shown graph, it is evaluated that majority of patients from breast cancer
this is because they does not have actual knowledge about symptoms of cancer (Cancer in
Ireland 1994-2015 with estimates for 2015-2017: Annual Report of the National Cancer
Registry, 2019). This graph shows that there is requirement of awareness programs with the help
of which people can communicated with each other and they does not appropriate and exact
information about it. When in an city, this much of patient arises, then in whole UK, there is
many cases which is faced by people. There is requirement of proper government interference
with the help of which awareness program can be conducted with more effectively.
Mammography is the treatment which is provided to women to analyse whether she is
suffering from cancer or not. There are many program where breast cancer screening is done.
There is relevant and specific information with getting through Mammography. This is the
health issue which is occurring among people and they are not taking proper understanding about

analysing changes. Patients who are suffering from breast cancer are cured with different
therapies which are not effective and relevant for understanding precaution which they have to
take. Mammography is painful for some one, while some does not get. Hence this is not clear
that it is painful or not. With the help of different campaigns, women and men will aware and in
case of any issue, they have to consult doctor. After age of 70, possibilities of breast cancer is
more, hence it is essential to consider went for regular check up.
YOUR POLICY
National Cancer Control Programmes (NCCP) is the policy which is implemented for
creating awareness among people about breast cancer (National Cancer Control Programmes
(NCCP), 2019). It is essential for people to understand and evaluate ways through which they
can possibilities cancer tumour is less. When people have complete and specific knowledge, then
they can create awareness among other as well. Hence this health care policy is effective and
provide social benefits because people have less complaint from people. In this policy, there are
five steps through which it is easy to get positive impact. Pre- planning stage, planning stage,
implementation stage are involved in this stage (Khoury, Iademarco and Riley, 2016).
As per Political policy, With implementing National cancer Control Programme, there
will ease in getting better health because with this it is easy in participation of workers and they
are able to get complete and specific information about breast cancer. When there is involvement
of government parties and other association then it is easy for them, to understand changes in
better and effective manner (National cancer control programmes (NCCP): planning,
implementation, management and evaluation, 2019).
Social policy refers to the society in which changes are taking place. When people are
suffering from cancer, then it affects operations in appropriate and effective manner. If there is
improper medication facilities, then it is not possible to deal with changes properly.
Breast cancer is the major health issue which is occurring among people because there
are many people who come at health care organisation for testing. Mammography is used for
curing and analysing whether it is effective or not. Due to this issue, there is negative impact on
population because there is fear in mind of people regarding it. There is use of test and x- ray to
identify whether test is positive or negative. Public health England organise many awareness
program with the help of which individuals are able to understand changes in appropriate and

specific manner. Apart from this, there is participation of political parties as well with the help of
which they can medication is proper so appropriate techniques can be implemented.
As per some authors, National cancer Control Plan is the way through which social
development is possible and people will get positive outcome because they have complete and
specific knowledge about it among people (Beard and Bloom, 2015). There is proper and
specific way through which they can ascertain what has to be done to check breast cancer. While
at the same timesome authors have view that due to National cancer Control Plan people get
confused regarding symptoms and they get wrong intentions with understanding it. There are
some ways due to which people get wrong information and they think it as sign of breast cancer.
So this National cancer Control Plan is not effective. Hence National cancer Control Plan have
positive as well as negative views about this topic. In order to ascertain changes it is important
for people to understand its importance and eluate ways through which they can deal it (Csete
and et. al., 2016).
There are many people residing in society and gets affected with National cancer Control
Plan for Breast cancer, in this way they are directly or indirectly related with changes in
appropriate way. Government bodies, authorised organisations, etc. who are responsible for
conducting activities for social development. With implementing this plan, there is positive
impact on people having higher or lower power because they are responsible for understanding
changes in appropriate manner. When social and health care organisation analyse any case in
which they have to determine ways through which they can access changes in appropriate and
specific manner. If NGO is taking initiative for betterment of breast cancer patient, then they also
get positive response and they are not liable for their acts as well performed to improve their
health (Jee-Lyn García and Sharif, 2015).
In order to deal with breast cancer patients, it is important that people have knowledge
about plan organised for them. This is the way with the help of which individuals are responsible
for analysing and understanding ways through which people can deal with it. When there is
complete and appropriate information with staff, they can serve patient well and their
responsibility is more specific. Patient have trust on health care organisation staff, so they can
treat them wisely. Staff have to provide specific information through which they create
awareness among patient and their relatives (Jiang, Room and Hao, 2015).

CONCLUSION
There is difference in perception of individualise are their knowledge and sources which
they study. This is the field which cures and analyse different sources of information with the
help of which individuals get to know about policies with which they gets affected.
Mammography is studied as an treatment which analyse whether individuals is suffering from
cancer. Government and other organisations have to take active participation in communicating
and creating aware about it. National cancer control program is policy which assist in creating
awareness among people and death rate due to breast cancer goes down.
