INTRODUCTION
Nursing associates usually work with people of all ages. They show a variety of aspects with
their work performance in setting in health and social care. The role majorly contributes towards
the core work of nursing, freeing up registered nurse associate to focus on complex clinical care.
It also shows a standing part that helps provide a progressive path to graduate nursing. It is
introduced to provide quality health and respect to the people who require health support. In this,
public health is defined as the art and science which is helpful in the prevention of disease and
promoting life and health through the systematic efforts of society (Astle and et al., 2021). Public
health usually promotes the welfare and well-being of the entire population. In this project, the
case study is derived based on Hayley brown, who requires nursing support and care to reduce
the associated complication and consequences. Hayley's brown face issue regards alcoholism and
postnatal depression. Moreover, nursing associates play an influential role by using their skills
and knowledge. The NMC standard is also helpful to provide them the vision for accomplishing
the driven roles and responsibilities (Driscoll and et al., 2019).
MAIN BODY
The role of a nursing associate is to work within a healthcare setting and provide support and
care to all age groups of people as per their needs and requirement based on health support. In
this, the nurse associate usually assesses and observes the patient and helps the healthcare
professional, including the doctor, create the patient's health care plan. The nursing associate also
carries out those care plans with medication and treatment administration. Moreover, the nurse
associate uses a range of medical apparatus and equipment. Both concentrated on monitoring the
patient and evaluating performing treatment (McKay and et al., 2019).
Along with scope of integrity, expertise, respect and compassion that based on code, the
standard of proficiency for nursing the nursing associate and the standard for the pre-registration
nursing associate program. The role of nursing associated is linked with public health. It makes
sure that any healthcare professional entering this field needs to possess some skills and
knowledge that are required in order to deliver care for people's health effectively. Then their
purpose is to promote wellness and prevent the issue of health regarding disease and or any
illness (Esmaeelzadeh et al., 2018). The nursing associate with public health focuses on teaching
at-risk individuals and groups how to live healthy lifestyles and prevent the disease by restricting

hazards or harm exposure. While taking the contrast of Hayley Brown, she also needs support
and care from the nurse associate.
The preceding discussion is based on the Hayley Brown family, which indicates that the
significance of nursing associates plays a vital role in the development of quality of health. Here,
some of the potential issue faced by Hayley includes proper care and ensuring diet intake. There
is also a need to provide the healthcare need and medication intake to help reduce postnatal
depression and alcoholism (Park et al., 2017). Moreover, the previous history of Hayley brown is
enlightened, which provides that Hayley's teenager is complicated. After a year of domestic
abuse, their parent was separated, and at last, they divorced when she was 15-year-old. Due to
this, Hayley's mothers face issues with depression due to the breakdown of a relationship and
often take alcohol excessively. A time while, Hayley married carl when she was 20, and due to
this, Hayley does not longer has to contact her mother. Overall, Hayley faces various upsides in
their life, and she experiences the issue of postnatal depression on a critical level. And Hayley
has also experienced this issue with mental illness. With this aspect, they require proper support
and care from the nursing associate. The nursing associate plays a vital role with the help of 6c’s
and interaction to know the complexities that Hayley has faced for a longer time. Postnatal
depression is usually associated with stress, anxiety, and many more, creating an issue with
Hayley. In this, the nursing associate takes care of it with their knowledge and skill, which is
used to minimize the risk of depression and excessive alcohol consumption.
NMC codes are for the public expectation, including the professional standard for nurses
and midwives while providing care services to the patient. Here, the different standard has been
followed to deliver quality care and services. These codes may include treating people as
individuals, ensuring their dignity, listening to patients, and responding to their concerns and
preferences. Act the best interest of patient all time (Calamidas and et al., 2018). The role of the
nursing associate in the Hayley case, the nursing associate, specializes in providing care to the
patient (Hayley) after the birth has been taken place. In this, they also take responsibility for
both, including the mother and the baby, and must ensure that they will take care of them until
they discharge. Specifically, they also focus on the mother in raising self-confidence that they
