The major facilities room in the building- storage rooms, regular classrooms, principal’s office,
main office, science laboratory, counselling room, library, attendance office, reception,
suspension room, staff room. The facilities are student cafeteria, gymnasium, auditorium, music
room, kitchen, school yard and the parking facility for buses outside the building.

Leadership structure
There is an inclusive leadership structure where the principal conducts regular meetings to gain
feedback from teachers and prevalence of shared decision-making. There is family engagement
and involvement of communities belonging to different races in the school. High standard are set
for student’s performance and the formative feedback is provided to the teachers with design of
curriculum in terms of student’s needs.
Services for children with special needs
Special education service with counsellors, and different instructional curriculum design to serve
the students with proper teachers. There is language acquisition skill classes for English
Language learners. Mentorship programs for students and honours courses for high quality
performing students. Lyfe Center in 1st floor f school building to provide free child care to teen
parents. The homeless students are supported by school supplies, snack, and uniforms free of
charge with physical health check-ups.
Extracurricular programming
Dance, Music, theatre and visual arts are available from grade 11 and 12. The dance and music
are only for grade 9 and grade 10.
Supportive services
Any partnerships with other schools/communities
a. Partnership with East Side House Settlement provide internships t grade 9 and 10 students
with career counsellor and qualified staff for the school in grade 11 and 12.
b. Partnership with Montefiore Clinic is for free physical and mental support at free service in
the building.
c. Partnership with Lyfe Center to provide free child care services for teen parent students
Schedule of a ‘typical day’
The normal schedule of the day starts from 8:20 am and ends till 2:20 pm for both the general
and special education students. The teachers are on their duty from 8:00 am to 3:40 pm. Monday
to Friday are the regular classes. The daily schedule consists of teacher meeting, task completion,

homework’s, extra-curricular activities at least one each day and the special counselling session
with educational assistance after school.
Family engagement resources
The families get the chance to visit their children classroom and gain feedback from teachers in
meetings conducted monthly. The families of student can participate in the activities through
volunteer participation and invitation from schools in various programs. The progress of the
students are sent to the families and teachers assist the guardians in meeting the needs of
students. The report cards, letters of communication regarding any serious concern along with
test marks are sent to the parents.
Professional development
Special initiatives in terms of ‘Saturday Academy’ class session for students to help in their
curriculum. On specific days from Wednesday to Friday, ‘Academic Boot Camp’ is provided to
students to assist them in their academic progress. The progress reports of the students are
provided through Jupiter Gateway where the report card distribution rate with the grading
structure is officially viewed. The lesson plan includes the values of integrity, relationship
building, self-awareness, and self- monitoring, decision-making and social skills.
