INTRODUCTION Vision is very important in academic purpose as it help students to accomplish the task in a proper time(Dreifuerst and et. al.,2016). Academic goal provide a clear cut picture to the employees and allow them to achieve the targets that ensure success and provide path to intellectualgrowth.It providevariousadvantageslikehigh qualityacademicexperience, improved focus and measure results that increases the motivation level and inculcate confidence among them. By preparing Smart goal, it helps to set specified target and clear cut procedure to the students. Time bound and constant effort is very necessary to accomplish academic goals. Learningfrommistakehelpstudentstoimprovetheirperformanceandenhancetheir productivity. This report cover importance of setting goals and various methods of remembering the new information. Importance of setting goals Today, setting goal is very important for the students by preparing a smart planning. This helps to build self confidence that increases the productivity but it is necessary to have set targets(Shucksmith,2018). By preparing smart goal, it helps to push forward and provide direction of action by setting a clear vision. It also helps learner to convert ideas into milestones and improve the overall performance. This help students to finish the projects in a proper time and stay away from negative situations. The short and long term goals are describes a follows: Short term goals: These are goals that are completed in a short span of time that help in achieving the set targets(Esquivel and Sweetman,2016). For instance: students can finish their projects on time bysettingrightprioritiesandbystartingtheprojectearly.Oneeffectivestrategyof accomplishing the task is to stop procrastination. Mobile phones are major source of distraction so this should be kept away to bring continuation in the work. Also, positive attitude is a better choice during stressful days as this help to make life better. Healthy lifestyle is a major prospective by eating fruits, vegetables and drinking lot of water to keep hydrated provide a better life. Reading good books help to develop skilful mind and increase the knowledge base of students and thereby accelerate analytical thinking. Long term goals: 1
These are goals that are set for twelve months or more that help in accomplishing long term ambitions(Etzkowitz,2016). Long term goals can be fulfilled by various ways such as careful planning, dedication and hard work. For example: the student could set a long term goals to qualify in next class by making a proper schedule. Time management is the one of the crucial factor in achieving long term targets. Self confidence and determination is the key to achieve long term goals that increases the efficiency and spark their life with joy. Physical and mental exercise is a must to maintain good life and healthier life. This help students to prepare for success and achieve the future targets. Methods of remembering new information There are various techniques of retaining the information that help students to regain memory(Waddock and Steckler,2016). There are several ways of retaining the information among the students that is sleeping for minimum eight hours help to revive memory better and boost the brain of humans. A proper balanced diet enrich with minerals and vitamins helps to improve the memory. Healthy lifestyle is taken a important consideration that provide assistance to students in retaining for a long time. One of the effective way of regaining information is to prepare handful notes and its daily revision help to accomplish task. As it is said ' Sharing is learning' that is one of the best way of learning new things(Lamb and et. al., 2017). The best way to learn something is to teach someone that help students to remember the matter for a long time. Handwritten notes by students provides assistance to create mind maps and broad the future imagination of students that enhance the learning capability of students. Playing brain games like chess and so on to create a vivid imagination and boost the brain of students. Also, one effective way of learning is to visualise the image and to create a rhythm to learn new words that help in achieving the task. Early morning study helps students to learn for a long period of time and also it does not allow the students to forget it easily. Another method of improving their learning ability is to memorize it daily for ten minutes whatever they have learnt during whole day help them to regain memory(McClure,2016). Mirror practice is the best strategy that has to be applicable by students to learn better. The PQRST strategy means preview, question, read, state and test can also be prepared by students and also by forming a mental picture help students to retrieve and boost the memory of students. The place where students study should be neat and clean so that they can study properly in an efficient manner. 2
