Such as, when students is able to set goals, it supports them be responsible for each action or step they take. After setting the goal a student make effort to achieve it in set period of time and according to that take appropriate action. It helps to improve different skills like learning, time management and many others. It pushes students to handle challenges head on and work on their weaknesses for overall success. It is essential for everyone to set effective goals. Some of the reasons for setting them are mentioned below: Goals provide focus because without any goal a person will not make effort to achieve things. Through goals student stay motivated and make effort to achieve them. It helps to increase learning power and focus on life of an individual. Goals help to measure progress of students and being able to figure out the progress which is highly rewarding and will supports to maintain concentration, keep head held high and energy up. The short term goals for a university student is to explore learning skills, completing assignment on time, enhancing abilities to take notes etc. Longterm goalsare essential for a successful career.To accomplish big achievement students are requires to set long term goals and according to that prepare all things. These goals are most important for university students because it is related to their life goals. Long term goals are showing positive impact on students and motivate for their work. By better understanding of possible roadblocks students increase their learning capacity and according to situation take right decision for goals(Flores, 2015). The long term goals for a university student is to focus on self improvement, developing qualities such as, working on MS excel, word, PowerPoint etc., becoming capable to get desired job in future. QUESTION 2 Methods use by students to improve and remember new information Students are learning a lot of new information at university and have regular exams. In every semester they are submitting projects on different topics and for this they conduct research through different methods. It is required for university students to remember all new information and improve knowledge. So for this they are using different types of method such as: Thevisualapproachisgoodmethodforstudentsthathelpstoremembernew information although it has actually been shown to be the most efficient. Many students easily learn things from pictures, videos because it leaves direct impact on their mind and show good results. Most of the students get advantages from this method during studies. They pay attention on images, charts and other graphics on notebook.(Renko and et. al, 2015). Structure and Organize methodis importantto collect any type information students are required to prepare plan in set structure and according to that take further action. As a result students take benefits through structuring and organizing the materials for study. It is required to grouping same concepts and terms together or make an outline in the note books as well as text books to supports groups in related concepts. Such as, To prepare a project report require to collect information from different sources. According to that a team leader can prepare a plan and allocate work to people as per the interest in order to complete project on time.(Shogren and Plotner, 2012). 2
