Importance of quality leadership
As managing human resource is one of the importance aspect of any project, high quality of
leadership has been assigned in the project. It is very essential to have a strong leadership skill
for the manager to achieve the outcome of the project successfully. There are two type of the
skill which need to be possess by the leader i.e. as follows:
 Soft skill: This are the skill which used to help the manager at the time of
communicating, conflict resolution and negotiation.
 Hard skill: This is the skill in which tool and different schedule software are used to
develop different tangible deliverable.
It is very important to have a quality leadership in the project as quality leadership in the
project help the manager to guide the performance of different employee in positive manner in
the project (Heagney, 2016). Also, it used to help the project manager in understanding the
different future outcome very easily.

Also it has been find out that lack of better leadership in the organization can result
failure of the project for the client. As without implication of correct leadership it get difficult
for the project to manage different time frame and not consider change of project, as it get very
difficult to resist different changes in the project. This is the same reason due to which ford edsel
project fail, as leader is not able to manage time frame.
Role of Project Manager
Strategic body, one of the biggest role of Project manager is to make different strategy in
the project and team member has to follow the same strategy in the project. This help the project
in improving the level of efficiency of the project, Another important role which is played by the
project manager is quality controlling and benefit Realization, as project manager in the project
used to check the quality of the product by supervising the operation of the project and also used
to check the realization of different benefit (Meredith, Mantel Jr and Shafer, 2017).
Critique Project Management methodology
Agile project methodology is the methodology where demand and solution used to
evolve through collaborative effort of self organizing.
Advantage
 People and interaction are emphasized, this project methodology used to center around
people in the organization. Other than that different methodology used to center around
process.
 Different party used to interact with each other, This used to bring good amount of
clarity in the project of the organization.
Dis advantage
 Less predictability, this project management methodology used to create the situation
where organization is find to predict the future effectively.
 More time and commitment
Waterfall is the project management methodology in which the the flow used to flows in
the downward in one direction. It is the methodology in which one element of the project is
linked with the other element of the project. They are depended on previous element.
Advantage

 Used to complete the each phase in the project before going forward, this help company
in checking the direction in which performance of business is going forward.
 There is minimum client intervention, Also this methodology does not require a client
interaction to be conducted in the project.
Disadvantage
 Difficult to fix different error, as difficulty can be find out only in the phase, not during
the phase.
 Not suitable for complex project in the organization, it is better for smaller project, it is
not that much suitable for the complex project which require good amount of the efforts.
Prince 2 is the process based approach in the organization which used to look at the
entire project from starting to end. Project are thoroughly planned before kicking off of same in
the organization.
Advantage
 Reduces team learning curve, As this methodology used to merge two to three process
together it used to overlook the learning curve in the organization (Kerzner, 2017).
 help in reducing risk and improving the work, this methodology is more efficient as
compare to the other methodology in the term of consuming less time and cost.
Disadvantage
 Require good sort of experience to apply same, This is tough task to perform, so it is
very difficult to apply without any sort of the experience.
 Require good sort of documentary work as well, Also it demands good sort of
documentary to be performed in the organization.
Going through the different methodology it can be said that Agile methodology will be
the best methodology for the project.
